I like the external antenna that came with it Really does add some range.

Great to Travel with

Got it today, box wasnt sealed, no tape, nothing. Looked just like you pulled it from a retail shelf and slapped a label on it. Plus, its dead, put in new batteries, even tried the cigarette lighter cord. Nothing. Dead as a freaking doornail.

Outstanding handset. Works great for CB, clear sound, great battery life. Getting about 2 miles in wilderness, .5 mile in city, but this is to be expected where I live.

Works great. It is only an emergency backup for when not in the vehicle

At first, I could not reach half a mile. I added. a TRAM 703-HC with a BNC male to UHF female adapter. The first time I turned it on I was speaking to someone in Colorado the second time I was speaking to someone in California. You’re not supposed to be able to talk to someone over 5 miles. With the added modifications, I would give it a five-star review.

Does not have good range

The wire connected to the base of the roof antenna broke within the first couple of hours on the first trip. no longer able to use that antenna.

Smaller then I imagine and works great.

It does not stay on once you take it off charge It sucks!!
