19-04-2025I used this unit one time..... One Time... The antenna fell off 3 or 4 times, but I could push it back together and it would work, which was fine. But if that wasnt bad enough I had it clipped to my belt standing on the side of a hunting road when out of nowhere the belt clip broke off and the unit fell into a puddle and fried itself. Complete disappointed with this product. It could have been a lemon but thats no reason for it to break in the first time out... Thanks for waisting my money.

> 3 dayThis is a nice refresh to the PRO401HH unit. The screen is bright (last 10 seconds) and the radio is plenty loud. Stock antenna is meh. Plastic belt clip snaps in - will probably weaken and break over time; prefer the screw in style as found on BC125AT scanner. Uniden or somebody needs to make a case for this - if you drop it chances are it’s in pieces, otherwise the build quality is nice and the buttons have a tactile feel.

18-04-2025Got it today, box wasnt sealed, no tape, nothing. Looked just like you pulled it from a retail shelf and slapped a label on it. Plus, its dead, put in new batteries, even tried the cigarette lighter cord. Nothing. Dead as a freaking doornail.
