> 3 dayI understood that there were two size exhaust hose diameters, 5.1” and 5.9” I ordered, by mistake, and returned the 5.1” This one was the 5.9” which is what I thought was the right size but my exhaust hose didnt fit in the outlet connector. Not did the outlet connector already on my exhaust hose fit in the new panel’s hole. I had to modify the panel with the hole that I already had (by drilling a new hole for the connection hardware) so I could integrate my existing panel to fit with the new ones. It was an easy adjustment but I dont know why my hose didnt fit into the new parts. Could be user error but unless there is a 6” exhaust hose rather than the 5.9” it makes no sense. Otherwise product is great and works well. Measure carefully!

> 3 dayEasy to install! No tools necessary! Hardest part was getting the exhaust hose to stay in the piece that attaches to the window insert.

> 3 dayWhere do I start? 1) The assembly needs to be 1 to 2 wider. Not enough clearance between the connector and wall to get a clamp on. Work around put the adapter on exhaust duct and tape it. 2) Top and bottom is not wide enough to put a seal. so you have gaps at top and bottom. 3) Top and bottom of window frames have a ridge that the window slides on. The vent assembly has no cut out for these. 4) The assembly is very flimsy. Over all if this sold for $10-$15 it would be a bargain. But for what they are selling it for, not such a good deal and Id seriously consider going to Home Depot or Lowes and get some plywood and make my own.

> 3 dayI bought a very expensive Frigidaire portable AC and it came with a flimsy cheap window kit. This is as sturdy as metal....maybe it is....and took no tools or tape to work correctly. This is what should have been included in the $550 the portable AC cost. And BTW, 5.9 is the same as 6 when it comes to the hoses on these portable units. So Frigidaire says its 6, they really mean 5.9.

> 3 dayI should have listened to the other reviews. The gasket fits (screws) securely onto the hose, that’s no problem, but it will not stay on the part that goes in the window. Part of the problem is the plastic parts that stick out and are supposed to function like like a latch are barely more than a bump and won’t catch. Another problem is the clearance for the window frame is not tall enough so the hose rests on it and bumped out of the slot.

> 3 dayPretty sturdy and easy to set up. I needed a wider extension because my window was too wide for the factory portable ac unit window attachment. It was perfect in size and more if needed. The foam seal roll that came with it is also a plus. Great product does the job.
