The wrong one was shipped but I used it anyway. It is a very high quality plastic.

The first kit I ordered arrived with a broken hose adapter ring. The product packaging is just a clear plastic sealed bag. The bagged kit came in the usual Amazon brown box which showed no signs of damage or abuse during shipping. The broken ring must have been damaged during pre boxing handling somewhere. The plastic hose ring is not protected against bumps or a dropped bag package.. The ring is thin sectioned, especially the circumference that goes through the hole in one of the door sealing plates. So I returned the whole kit and got a replacement. The second kit also came with a broken hose adapter ring. A piece was busted off about 2/3 of the circumference of the thin walled area of the ring. Strike two. Rather than return and replace with a third kit, I have glued the broken hose ring back together. Foolish because that may not be a reliable fix. But I do not believe this ring design is robust and even an undamaged ring it likely will need replacement after some use. Worst case… a broken ring could be held in place through the door seal plate using tape. I have not installed the kit yet (glue is drying) so no comment on function yet. I have fingers crossed the repaired ring is usable.

I bought a very expensive Frigidaire portable AC and it came with a flimsy cheap window kit. This is as sturdy as metal....maybe it is....and took no tools or tape to work correctly. This is what should have been included in the $550 the portable AC cost. And BTW, 5.9 is the same as 6 when it comes to the hoses on these portable units. So Frigidaire says its 6, they really mean 5.9.

Great kit but unfortunately the largest size offered was still too small for the Toshiba portable a/c hose. I wish this was offered In a size that’s a little bit larger than 5.9.

We returned the item, as it was not what we needed.

The hole was a bit small for our AC tube. I used a knife to enlarge it, which is not too hard. I think it worth the price than the other $45+ similar products in Amazon. We didnt use the tape that comes with the product. I wish theres an item without the tape but with a cheaper price.

The product was perfectly packaged in carton box but was damaged inside. Still works fine but I’m disappointed. Sellers quality standards below my expectations.

Easy to install, we used it as exhaust vent for my sons 3d printer and with some adjustments after 4 months we are very happy
