> 24 hourMy grandson loves dinosaurs so after a few drawing lessons - we took our time to draw a variety of dinosaurs on each nesting doll blank and then painted them. For 7 years old he did a great job & was quite proud of himself. The soft wood made it very easy to paint. We used both water colors and markers. I bought 4 more to gift my other grandsons & nephews for Christmas. I have a friend who said she cant wait to gift to her artistic 12-year old to give it a whirl. Actually I think these would be enjoyed by all ages!

> 24 hourPurchased these to paint for my wife. They’re a little pricey compared to other sets on here, but the wood was nice and smooth and the dolls feel as though they’ll last a very long time, I am very happy with the quality. I applied a couple layers of clear gesso, sanded it down so the surface was smooth, painted them with Golden acrylic paints, and sealed them with KBS Diamond Clear which I can’t recommend enough, it’s really amazing stuff. The final product is truly professional level, and I mean the dolls themselves, not talking about my painting skills haha great set, highly recommended, and seriously, try that clear coat I mentioned, you won’t regret it, the finish is immaculate.

> 24 hourAwesome product! Very high quality wood that is easy to work with. My set was lost in the mail for over a month, and the customer service was quick, kind, and helpful. They sent a replacement product immediately, and they were very very nice. Cannot recommend highly enough for quality of product and of customer service!

> 24 hourThese are very well made and ready for painting. However, once the third figure is revealed, the shape of the doll becomes very narrow, nearly bullet-like. I was expecting more of a rounded shape like the two outside dolls. Im hoping that once they are painted it wont be that noticeable.

> 24 hourOf course I understand that in order to make these they have to be thin, but the bottom of one broke while painting, like it was paper, so cheap wood is the next thing I can think of, otherwise pretty good.

> 24 hourThe smallest of the dolls are very small; could easily get lost if not careful. Smooth, lightweight. no obvious blemishes.
