This is the 6th set of nesting dolls Ive bought for my grandkids to paint. All the others, from various other vendors, required lots of sanding prior to painting in order to smooth them out and make them easy enough to open and close the dolls. This set required no sanding at all, and was ready to paint. I recommend these.

Awesome product! Very high quality wood that is easy to work with. My set was lost in the mail for over a month, and the customer service was quick, kind, and helpful. All the dolls are sanded smoothly with the same general shape and feel. The fit and finish is excellent (pieces fit together, dolls nest properly, no missing chunks or cracks, wood doesnt feel too soft) and the dolls stand on their own perfectly even the smallest. Would purchase again.

The smallest one is very tiny barely 1/2 inch high so be aware. Otherwise great quality; I cant wait to paint them.
