It is filters like this that make me regret not buying OEM filters. Filters for my Dyson vacuum are designed to have to be washed on occasion which I understand and appreciate. With my original filter, I had used it for 3 years and only had to wash it once every month. With these filters, it is the opposite case and I find myself having to wash them after every other use use and I vacuum 3-4 times a week. I have a small 2 bedroom apartment and primarily just get my living room. You can tell it has to be done based on the volume and pitch the dyson makes when turned on. Under normal use when the filter is cleaned and useable, its a low volume and you can both see and hear it working correctly. That is not the case with these filters, upon every use the dyson wails like a banshee struggling to suction, gasping for air and the cat hair on the floor remain there until I replace the filter with one that has not been used since its wash. There is a reason this product comes in a 3 pack. You have to switch it every time with every use and that is not worth the time money or effort. I would suggest NOT buying these. If this still does not convince you to avoid 3rd party, I hope that at the very least you buy OTHER 3rd party filters and not this garbage.

I was led to believe that the HEPA filter that came with the V10 was supposed to be a lifetime filter that you just needed to wash in the sink. That couldnt be further from the truth. I have tried multiple times to clean that thing. Im almost certain that its just as dirty after washing it and waiting 2+ days for it to dry. After a while the stink from the filter and vacuum got so bad I knew it was time to replace the filter. I went to Amazon and sure enough there was plenty of options. The official Dyson filter is $40 for a single filter. I figure you should skip the whole washing nonsense and just replace the filter every few months. With that said, $40 is going to add up quickly. I found this 3-pack for less than $20. I figured thats an awesome price and definitely makes the filters disposable. But would they work as well as the original??? Yup! They work just as good as the original. I couldnt even tell the difference when I help the original and the new filter side by side. The fabric is just as thick and it fits into the vacuum perfectly. Best of all, no more smell!!!

This filter fits a little snug but works fine. Suction seems better than with the old, original filter. Great price!

I originally wrote a negative review and found a large clog in the actual vacuum. Once cleared the filter worked well. Nice not having to wait 2 to 3 days for washed filter to dry.

My vacuum was starting to smell when I used it, so ordered these in hopes it helped, and it did!! Fits perfect, no issues. Highly recommend- Much easier than washing and drying the original.

These replacement filters fit great and work even better! So glad I stumbled upon these as they are a much cheaper option than buying the Dyson replacement.

I put the first filter on the vacuum and it was great to have the suction power back. After using it for a few weeks, it needed to be cleaned and I was excited to just put another one on while the first one was washed and left to dry. The second one wouldnt work and when I tried to remove it from the vacuum it appears to have not been glued together correctly. I had to dig it out with pliers (not difficult in any way). I put the third filter in and it worked great. I contacted the company directly about the bad filter and asked if I could get a replacement for just the one. I was still in the return period, so I could have returned them to Amazon for a refund, but two were great. They contacted me within hours and said they couldnt replace a single filter, but they would refund the prorated amount of the filter if that was ok with me. I replied back with the affirmative and the refund was issued the next day. Extraordinary customer service. I did mark down the overall rating by 1 because I did get a defective filter, but based on other reviews I read, this is probably an anomaly.

Fit perfectly, and although I can’t technically know if it is filtering as good as an original dyson manufactured filter, it looks identical, firs perfectly, and if anything the dyson air output seemed slightly quieter, like it was working less hard to output the air with these filters. Long story short, these are a great purchase and I would recommend never buying a dyson filter as long as these exist.
