This is a Christmas present for one of my granddaughters

Bought three of these for my young granddaughters, who all like to draw. They are the perfect. size to carry along on outings, and provide something to do while traveling. The quality is top grade.

Only thing my Autistic son didnt like about them that his markers and pens bleed through the paper

These are the best art supplies and I was happy and proud to give my artistic granddaughter these quality supplies to encourage her.

Update: with use, I have seen several chunks of sheets glued together and is very difficult to separate them to the point some of them may rip. when received these pads had a very tight plastic paper over it. Maybe they were tightened for a long time. On the good side: Nice paper, ample quantity, although a little on the fine side so you cant use water on it. Better fit for pencil and ink sketching-which is advertised except , I guess for watercolors due to the fine paper. I have used with varied size nib fountain pens and it works well even with stub nibs. Good for writing short notes or letters with fountain pens,. For those looking for Tomoe River paper to use with fountain pens, use this instead. I have been sketching with pencils and the surface is pleasant for writing with the graphite.

I am just learning how to draw, and these sketch pads are great. The paper is sturdy enough to stand up to multiple erasures and redrawing. I really like this paper a lot and will continue to use it as I continue to learn how to draw.

Pages are way too thin and the binding is quite flimsy. I ended up giving them away.

I made a mistake one time and ordered a heavier weight paper and it was horrible - the pencil lines seemed to actually spread into the paper, not with this, a line is a line and stays a line. This is the only paper I will use to sketch.
