I have been very surprised by the performance of this mouse. This replaced a razer naga which had the notorious liftoff issue that i finally got tired of. My only gripe is the center line of the num pad could be a little more pronounced. Otherwise, for 30 bucks it has surpassed my expectations.

its a great mouse with really good software. I used the wired version for years until the middle mouse button gave out, so i was quite happy to see they had an updated wireless version. It was a breeze to set up my macros and hotkeys, I really like this new software. Old wired version got super buggy for me, but so far so good with this version. The best feature about the wireless version for me is the battery life. I got this mouse a month ago and the first and only time I charged it was the day I got it. Ill admit Im not using the lights on it, but still its absolutely amazing.

I recently built a new box and was grudgingly forced to switch to Windows 10. When I did so, I found that the new G-Hub program with which Logitech has replaced the old Logitech Gaming Software is unspeakably horrible. It does not support my beloved G700 mouse -- or even the G602 -- and also dropped support for the G13 keypad, for which Logitech offers no replacement in their current line-up of products. I swear Logitechs current leadership is deliberately sabotaging the company... Anyway, after 20 years of steadfast loyalty to Logitech, I was forced to abandon them and look elsewhere for my peripheral needs. I came across this little gem of a mouse quite by accident. While several manufacturers have offered mice with numeric thumb keypads in the past, theyve always been wired. This one is dual mode (wired/wireless), which is a requirement for me. At a price of fifty bucks, I snapped it up without hesitation. I am pleasantly surprised at how good it turned out to be, since I wasnt expecting much of it. Let me say this up front, however: No, the programming software is not as good as Logitech (or LGS, at least; anything is better than G-Hub). But it is quite adequate for what I do with it. You can easily program any mouse key to emulate any keyboard key and a small variety of multimedia commands. The only thing it cant do (that I can see; someone correct me if Im wrong), is remove bindings and allow games to see the mouse keys as digital buttons, i.e. - mousebutton4, mousebutton5, etc. This is a little disappointing, but nothing I cant work around. The ergonomics are quite nice, but understand that Im coming from years of using the Logitech 600/700 series, which are high hump palm mice similar to this one. I prefer that feel and find that flat mice, which encourage a claw hold, tend to be very uncomfortable for me. The numeric thumb buttons are set up so that there are two vertical channels -- 123,456 and 789,0-=. This design is so that you can easily feel which channel your thumb is in and quickly press the button you want without looking at it. This is a real boon in MMOs. Mind you, it will take a while to train your muscle memory, but once youve got it down it is surprisingly intuitive. The buttons have a slight resistance to them, so that you can move your thumb around without accidentally triggering one. They arent hard to press by any means, but you cant activate them by simply dragging your thumb across them; you must consciously press a button. It lights up in pretty colors. I dont give two shakes of a wet cat about such things, but yes it lights up in pretty colors and yes you can change them. Whatever. Enough about that silliness. The cord is a nice cloth braid and is easy to plug/unplug, (the G700 was notoriously fickle in this area). The programming software is obtained via a Dropbox link which is supplied on a little cardboard USB drive. Unconventional perhaps, but it got the job done. The wireless dongle is... well, a wireless dongle. You plug it in and it does wireless dongle things for you. Id definitely recommend this mouse to gamers. Its an absolute steal at fifty bucks. If I were still doing CAD work Id buy one for the office, as all those thumb buttons would make wonderful shortcuts for design software -- similar to the old 18-button digitizer puck I used back when dinosaurs roamed the engineering offices. Or perhaps if youre a digital artist you could use it in your painting software. Whatever your use might be, if you like lots of buttons on your mice, you should definitely pick one up.

Was skeptical at first, but gave it a shot bc of the price and I was extremely surprised. I use it for gaming. Mainly Elder scrolls online .Able to make several different Loadouts like loadout one for gaming. Loadout two for video editing etc. It’s is bulky but even I with small hands had no problem using this. Definitely recommend.

This mouse exceded my expectations. The side buttons are stiff enough that even with my claw grip I dont accidentally press them. The side buttons work great in game for 1-= buttons. No more taking fingers off the wsad keys. The mouse is also wide enough so that my hand doesnt cramp during long sessions. The controller app was easy to install with the provided USB card( very cool by the way, I showed my friends). The app is easy to use and straight forward. I recommend this mouse.

Mouse is absolutely amazing for the price, easily beats out R.A.T. brand mice or other over priced abominations. People here say the buttons are hard to press, that is far from true. They give you just barely enough resistance to confirm with your finger that it was press, easy to use. Has rapid fire button, which can be easily configured to do anything else. You can make macros on the software you get with your package, so you have absolute freedom to control your world with this mouse. The card itself is actually a USB drive, so you can have a fancy little software with you for any computer. Lighting is fantastic, although I wish it supported hex coding. You have multiple lighting modes and colors to choose from, so dont worry about that whatsoever. Goes well with any set. Battery life is as describes, long and heavy use for three days straight (more if you happen to have a life or sleep like some kind of healthy human.) Some people here complain it dies too quickly, they most likely forget to charge it. This is not civilian battery operated mouse, so it will not last weeks with power, it already tells you this. You can use the mouse either with or without a wire, although most likely you dont want to be wired so make sure you charge it when not in use, otherwise that is your fault and not the products. DPI is customizable! Rarely any mice let you control this amazing feature, and the mouse lets you have multiple profiles (modes of saved settings.) Being able to control your DPI directly means you can achieve the perfect mouse speed for yourself, make it easy to snipe that Heavy across the map giving sandwiches to a Spy before he can come out and backstab you in 2Fort for the seventh time. (Team Fortress 2 on Steam, the game is also free) The mouse is very comfortable to grip, leaves my hand feeling well rested even in heavy use. The design is to prevent slip, something that means it gets an odd texture on top to prevent your fingers from slipping off if you swear or so on. On top of this, the mouse is also nicely designed to have enough of its own weight to prevent slipping on the mousepad The accuracy of the scanner is competitive level t technology, the only person that can use great tech for good is you. Destroy the battlefield at the same rate and pace as the best gamers in the world. (Skill not included, please play good with mouse to use it for the absolute best of its ability.) If my review did not cover everything you need to know about this mouse then Im sorry but you probably cant read. Just kidding, I will provide any answers needed for this product, this is a mouse I stand firmly with. Do not spend money in anything else, it will be a disappointment, even if you dont want to use this for MMO.

So I have had this mouse for 7 years. And Im now replacing it with the same exact model because its worked so well. The 1 2 and 3 buttons on my current mouse are starting to not read prompts which is really annoying. I have such a fear of finding things that dont work and this works!

I own two of the previous wired model of this mouse (work & home). I love it. My wife bough the wireless version recently and loved it as well. I then bought the wireless version for work so I wouldnt have to have my go to meetings mouse in addition to my main wired mouse. The pricing (on both versions) is also very reasonable. There are good & bad between the models. There are aspects to the new software that I like and some that I dislike. The wired version was hampered by having to use older software to get all the functionality. This one can use the new software. Lighting: There are additional lighting effects that were not available on the wired version. These features are still lacking in variety and options, but that is a minor complaint. Specifically, while plugged in it pulses a color (based on battery charge) rather than the light setting chosen. Id love to just use it wired when at my desk and wireless when off to meetings and such. I love the light color cycling and miss that when it is plugged in. Weight Compartment: The wired version had the bottom compartment with additional weights. This version is lacking that and thus a bit lighter than I am used to. While I liked the heavier weight it isnt a deal breaker for me. Software: The software, while newer, has fewer options for programming the keys compared to the older version. The older version had a ton of pre-made keys that were easy and available. You can get to the same functionality, but you have to add them as key combinations. An example was the old software had a pre-done entry for copy, paste, and other basic functions. On this one I had to manually create a ctrl + c hotkey. Again, not a huge issue for me, but I could see it being less useful for others who may not have an idea of what to put on all the keys. It certainly felt like a step backwards on that aspect. I suspect this has to do with them storing the profile on the mouse directly rather than in a file. Profiles: The software not having the profiles or way to toggle between them was odd. There is no indicator for which profile you are on. The button on the bottom to toggle profiles just felt odd as well. This might be worth the trade-off for having the two profiles on the mouse though. I absolutely hated that I couldnt convert my current profile onto the new mouse (.pdf profile in older version vs .jmk in this one). This forced me to re-create all my macros and re-assign them. Again, not a deal breaker as it is a one time setup and only impacts people with prior versions. Note, the software is PC only. You can set the mouse up on a Windows machine, it stores the profiles on the mouse, then you can use the mouse without issue on a Mac. Misc: The slot for the dongle on the bottom of the mouse is a bit odd. It sticks out just far enough that you cant use the mouse with the wired charger while the dongle is put in the mouse for storage. I dont understand why they didnt do the recessed tabs on top/bottom of it so you could grip it to pull the dongle out (like most other dongle storage layouts are). I suspect it is mostly a non-issue since you dont remove the dongle while you have it plugged in, it just seemed like an odd design choice (maybe something they can fix in the next hardware revision/version). The Good: Good size that fits hand very comfortably with the nice textured finish Good quantity of buttons to program High precision with adjustable DPI to get mouse movements just right Multiple profiles for different tasks Better lighting options compared to prior versions profiles stored on mouse (limit 2) The Less Good: no additional weight compartment in wireless version (wired version has it) lighting options, while better, are still underwhelming lighting option when plugged in is not existent less pre-created macro/key options in software compared to earlier versions (can manually create for functionality, just lose the ease of it) The Bad nothing that would sway my purchase decision Summary: This is a great mouse for the price. It is very comfortable to use and ticks off all the quality items needed for a functional mouse for gaming or customization of buttons. The software is its greatest weakness, but not detrimental to the point where it has a functional impact (just the area they should focus more effort on). I back this up with this wireless mouse version being my third of this style/brand of mouse for my own use (2 wired, 1 wireless) plus my wifes use of both the wired and wireless version too. Mac users need to be aware of the software limitation so they can get it setup on a Windows machine first, then theyll be ready to go.

Overall, great mouse to use for gaming. The left/right click buttons are responsive and feels nice. There are a LOT of button options on this mouse, individually programmable through their software - which they provide via USB (looks like a gift card with the slim USB inserted into it). Once you install the software, you can adjust the colors, sensitivity levels (adjustable via up down arrows under the scroll), button mapping, and lighting. Remember to install the software as the pre-set sensitivity on this mice can be way too much past the first couple settings.. like moving your mouse 1cm moves the cursor like 6 inches on a 1440p monitor. Once you install the software, things work well, even the RGB. Buttons: There are 12 buttons on the side for your thumb, additional button on the left side (image with the circle around it) which highlights all the text - a feature I found was great by the way, sensitivity buttons (the up/down arrows under the scroll), profile button on the bottom of the mouse (can change profiles that are set via software), and a switch on the bottom to turn the mouse off, have it on with RGB or without RGB. Wireless/Wired: The USB for the wireless signal works perfectly. Wireless works just fine with my PC about 3 ft away and under the desk. No issues with stuttering or lag. One great PLUS is that the USB slot under the mouse (to store) is magnetic! It wont fall out and you wont have to worry about losing it. Great little touch. Having the option to go wired is always a plus. Batteries drain $$$ over time and these last for quite a while on a single charge (less with RGB on). The USB C cable they provide is 6 ft long and braided so seems it will be sturdy and last. Durability: They provide you with additional paddings for the bottom of the mouse (the 4 black stickers you can peel/stick) - which is something you usually dont see. If these get bad over time, which I dont believe they will, then you always have another replacement! Buttons seem like they are good quality and will last a while. Clicks are solid, scroll also feels nice - a little resistance but not much, which feels good for me. Comfort: These fit in my hands well. It isnt heavy like some mice out there, but not light either, giving it that premium feel without having to worry about your wrist aching from the weight of it. The plastic around it is textured (slightly bumpy..? Kinda like soft sand paper almost) so even if you sweat your hands wont slip, if that is a worry for some. Things I didnt like: The buttons 1-12 on the side are a bit cramped. It could be my personal taste. I found it hard to really use those well as my thumb would press on multiple or I wouldnt know if I was pressing the middle one or the bottom/top ones. The buttons also are a bit harder to press - not an easy click. Almost as if there is a padding behind it to make some resistance, if that makes sense... If you are looking for a mouse to use 10+ buttons just from the thumb, this may not be the best choice for you. I havent tried other mice with as many buttons so I cant comment too much on that.

I just got this mouse, so I dont have a lot of experience with it yet, but I wanted to give my first impressions. Pros: 1. Do all mice come with replacement Teflon pads? Because this mouse does. Thats new to me, and while I havent bought a new mouse in a few years, I typically buy high-en peripherals. 2. The side buttons dont accidentally click when you pick the mouse up! This is a big deal for me, as my last mouse did this so often that I had to disable one of the three side buttons in the profile. 3. The fit is really quite good. Fit and feel are things you just cant glean from a review online, so take this with a grain of salt. Your hands may hold this mouse just perfectly, or not. You wont know until you try it. I expected it to be on the large side, because it has 12 side buttons. But it fits my hands very well (I wear mens medium gloves). 4. It comes with a printed manual. This may not seem like a big deal, but its nice to be able to see what each button is, without having to load up a PDF. 5. The braided cable is nice. It helps identify your mouse if you plug in to a USB hub. 6. Adjustable LED coloring lets you select a color that suits your preference. Cons: 1. The DPI indicator LEDs color is not adjustable (fixed at red). This doesnt really bother me. 2. The Velcro cord organizer is not removable. Minor issue, Im gonna leave it on for now. If it bugs me, Ill cut it off. I have lots of Velcro cable organizers, so it will be easy to replace if I need to. I have the polling turned all the way up to 1ms (1 KHz), and have not noticed any issues yet. I quickly found the DPI that I like is around 7,000. I will need to play around with that a bit. The software makes this easy. Since the mouse has 4 adjustable DPI increments, Im leaving #3 at 7,000, and will set #1 and #2 a bit lower, with #4 and #5 a bit higher. Then I will adjust the DPI in game (and in Windows) until Im happy. I also put acceleration at one notch above zero. For the price, this is an amazing mouse. I got it on sale, which made it an even better value. One feature that I would like to see is an DPI assignment that lets me toggle between my current DPI and any other. I would love to be able to hit side button 1 and instantly be in the lowest DPI (for sniping), and hit it again to be back at whichever DPI I was just using. I may be able to do this with a macro, so Ill try to figure that out before I post a feature request with UtechSmart. I will update my review after Ive spent some time gaming with it (probably Far Cry 5 / New Dawn).
