The mouse is on the larger size to accommodate the num pad on the side, but it feels great in the hand. The num pad can at first be a little hard to use without looking, but the different sizes and slants of the keys help you quickly catch on. Ive been using this mouse for the last 5 days and I only charged it once when I got it and its only 50% down as of now. After about 30 seconds with no use, the lights turn off and the mouse appears to enter a low power mode as it doesn’t lose charge when left on overnight. Sadly the only way to check the power level is through the software, but the software is really quick to load, so its fine. The mouse arrived almost fully charged. The charging cable is a nice braided cable. I was pleasantly surprised to see the mouse came with a nice carrying case. Note that the wireless version doesn’t have an option to adjust the weight, but I think it has a pretty good weight already. The software comes on a USB stick that will open a download link to the software. I can confirm that the software is not running in the background taking up any precious processing power, all the macros and key data are stored on the mouse itself. As far as the software itself, it can a first seem confusing, but after you get the hang of it, it works great and has so many great customization options. At first, I didn’t expect to use this for non-gaming purposes, but with the ability to add profiles, and so many customization options that allow you to add tons of macros and key shortcuts I have found it comes in handy for general everyday use as well. I have one profile set up for gaming that includes inventory hotkeys and more for gaming, then I have a different profile with quick keys for copy, paste, enter, and other keys to quickly open/close applications. The process for adding new profiles could be improved as I believe it includes going up to the red arrow in the top right corner and exporting then importing a profile, from there you can easily switch between the profiles with the button on the bottom of the mouse and the software will update accordingly. Once you have the different profiles you can still always change both in the software the same as normal. The window of the software can sadly not be adjusted in size, though its fine. the DPI can be quickly adjusted with the on mouse buttons, and the different levels can also be changed. The mouse can be set to ridiculously high DPI, as if you would ever need it to be that high, which is why I turned my DPI levels way down. The mouse can get some good lighting colors, but I will say that the color on the mouse is not always identical to the color look in the software, and with some colors, the lighting section colors dont completely match each other. The lighting color sections CANT be controlled separately, though Im personally fine with this, and there is an option to completely turn off the lights, which I assume should result in better battery life. All the lighting modes look good, my favorite being Neon which cycles through every color, I use the neon mode on my gaming profile, and a solid color for my everyday profile to help easily distinguish between the two profiles I have. Overall this is a great product and is a great alternative to a ridiculously expensive gaming mouse.

As much as I diligently read product reviews on items before I buy, I hate writing product reviews. If the product comes as described, works and i like it ill just use it and keep it moving. However, this mouse is an exception as its quality needs to be told and read by the masses who are considering buying this as I was. First off as a gamer, raider and MMO head I like to minimize the amount of clicking as much as possible with spells and skills so I keybind avidly. I for years swore by my Razer molten edition Naga mouse and had no issues with it. It was a damn good mouse, the many buttons on the side made keybinds for casting a breeze. The DPi was great and visually it just looked so bawse with its cool molten pulsations. But after years with it and a newly built rig now i just wanted something different. As a Naga user i figured what else would beat this great mouse in looks and performance other then a newer edition Naga...then i saw the pricing and remembered how ridiculously overpriced Razer was. I thought about logitiech but again i do care about aesthetics too and most of their MMO mice were not too pleasing visually..so I was at a lost i thought. But after searching around and looking up reviews i found out about this mouse from some company I never really heard of and figured with the reviews and videos it must be somewhat decent. The price was too good and almost laughably low but it was low enough not to at least try out since amazon has a great return policy. In my mind all i thought was this might be some garbage mouse being so cheap like the many many other cheapo mice out here for sale but ill just have to see. And man am i so glad i tried it out! This mouse has an all over grippy texture which help it sticks to the hand well and is easy to lift. To compare the feel its like a rubberized surface with grit. The 12 angled side button feel great and are easy to distinguish from one another. The Dpi can get up to 16400 which is crazy high. i only use about 4000-8000which is what most might use tbut it can be changed on the fly with the up or down arrows on the mouse or in its synapse. This thing even has removable weights that can be taken out to lighten or left in heft the mouse. Oh and of course the LEDs, these are some nice LEDs. Nothing too fancy just the wheel, the logo on the back, arrows on the front and buttons but they can be set to any color you want in the mouses synapse. The brathing effect can be speed up or slowed or turned off too. There is also a thumb rest, which is mmmm a little narrow but its still good then none at all but the ring finger rest feels so comfortable and ergonomic. All in all this mouse is FREAKING AMAZING, and again, I was a dedicated Razer Naga user for years. This mouse literally has every feature the current Razer Naga has right down to its grip, high customization of mouse specs with profiles for Dpi, keybinds and LED choices. The only difference is this mouse has weights that can be changed out, Razer Naga for some reason doesnt have this yet. The LEDs in the individual numbers buttons, wheel and logo on the Razer can be changed to mix up the looks but thats kind of a small victory considering the prices are so vastly different. In conclusion, theres absolutely NO reason any gamer who keybinds shouldnt want this mouse. It goes toe to toe with the the best MMO mice out there and the Naga in every way.The bonus feature of weights and its super low price point trumps Razer easily. If you game, BUY THIS MOUSE. If you ever used a mainstream gaming mouse but want something new and better with all the features and looks that you care about thats also under 100$ then BUY THIS MOUSE. If you think higher price = better then please, buy this mouse...because once in hand youll see how its changed your experience. Then slap yourself for ever thinking extra money ment a better mouse. With all the extra cash you saved from not defaulting to Razer you could easily get a nice XL mouse pad, a pair of decent headphones. Possibly even A few good games off steam or hell maybe even order a pizza with wings and a case of monster because you made a damn good buy thats waay below what anyone else is selling mice of this level at and that in it self is worth celebrating. Again i hate writing reviews, I am a word of mouth type of guy if i like something ill tell my friends but 5 stars alone was not enough to get across how awesome this mouse is. i as a gamer had to let other gamers know that this option exist. its a wordy as hell review i know but its so worth the buy.

Ive used this mouse for years now. This first one started failing after 8 or 9 years so I got a replacement. For the money you pay, its a fantastic mouse. My only issue with it is its a little on the light side, but other than that no complaints.

I have been very surprised by the performance of this mouse. This replaced a razer naga which had the notorious liftoff issue that i finally got tired of. My only gripe is the center line of the num pad could be a little more pronounced. Otherwise, for 30 bucks it has surpassed my expectations.

The first thing to note here is the weight. I was using a logitech G602 before, which is a brick compared to this. It is so light that I had to put half of the weights back in to give it a good feel on the desktop. And it does. This is a very cool feature because you can make it feel like you want, physically. The buttons feel snappy and always click properly. The 12 side buttons are angled back and forth to make it easier to figure out where you are just by feel. The 12 are easy to program through their software, which is always present in the tray. You can define multiple profiles and save those profiles to disk for easy swapping. I used the DPI buttons a lot (the buttons behind the scroll wheel) because I switch between games and they always want to have their own mouse settings. The lights right next to the DPI buttons tell me where I am. And since they are configurable in the software, I can make them do whatever I want. If there is a real downside here, it is with the scrollwheel. It works as described, but I would prefer something that feels a bit more premium like one of the heavy scrollwheels that spin freely on other products. But that would also add to the overall weight of the mouse, so there is a tradeoff. The scrollwheel isnt bad. It works just as well as any other business mouse Ive used. I would just prefer it to have the freewheel option in addition to the soft click feel it gives you. (It makes no noise) Overall, I love this mouse. Im a 54 year old professional programmer and I game a lot. Ive used upwards of 50 mice in my lifetime. This is one of the best, at least in the top 5, of all the mice Ive ever used. Im looking forward to playing with the macro functions and the other button settings it has. I play a lot of RTS strategy, build-then-fight, kind of games. I think I will be able to work out all the quick keys I need in game to improve my resource gathering speed. If youve never used a mouse with a bunch of buttons like this, dont be intimidated. It is surprisingly solid and easy to use. You wont be pressing buttons on accident all the time, like you might think. As long as you arent used to holding the mouse with an iron grip (probably bad for you anyway) this is very easy to get along with.

I am modifying this review a few days after I posted it. I have zero problems with the mouse, but the company (not the manufacturer) selling it left a bad taste. A few days after receiving the mouse I got a card in the mail offering me $12 in Amazon credit to review the mouse, even if it was a negative review. I posted the review you see below. The company gave me $10 in credit and asked if I could remove the disclaimer about being paid to do the review. I told them that this was unethical and that they owed me $2. They pretty much immediately coughed up the additional $2, but again asked me to remove the disclaimer. I am happy with the mouse, but I have serious doubts about a seller who clearly gives zero effs about ethically running a business. In other words: maybe buy this mouse from a different seller. My original review follows: I have used this mouse for several weeks and Im very happy with it. When I first started using it I noticed that the textured surface has a lot of relief. On day two I actually thought the grainy texture might be annoying, but by day three I simply wasnt noticing it any longer. The surface is grainy, but the rubber is forgiving, so it has the texture but not the feel of sandpaper. I hold my mouse with many differing grips and I always feel like I have a good grip on this one. Some mice have an unusual shape that just doesnt feel right -- not so here. The very many buttons all work fine and feel solid. The main right and left click buttons are just a tiny bit easier to click than I would like -- I click them once in awhile while just resting my fingers on them. If I could make them 10% more stiff, I would. I have owned two other mice with similar button layouts, one of them made by Razer. I think I prefer this mouses setup/macro software to either of the others. I regularly use some complex macros, and I sometimes have to use middleware, like Autohotkey, to get my mouse to do what I want it to do. I have not had that issue here, so far. As for durability, I simply havent owned the mouse long enough to tell you that it will last for years and years, but if it does, this will be one of my favorite mice ever, and Im a former IT guy who has literally used hundreds of mice. This mouse gets an easy four stars, and if it doesnt fall apart in the next two years, I think it will earn five stars from me. Disclaimer: Amazon offered me a gift card to write a review for this mouse, but they did not stipulate that it had to be a positive review.

My Razer Naga Pro stopped working just over 12 months old. The new version is close to $200.00. I read the reviews for the Utech and gave it a chance. Absolutely worth it for the price.

alright, ive had this thing since august and have used it constantly since then so i can safely say this is an extremely good mouse for the price with the only caveat being the program that you use to manipulate the mouse functions is lacking in a few smaller, but still important, areas. the mouse itself is sturdy as a rock but nowhere near as heavy with the only physical issue being the area where you are meant to place the weights specifically that there are two rather large openings where you could lose one of the weights in (as i almost did). the buttons make a noticeable click when pressed but do not provide too much resistance but at the same time provide enough resistance that theyre not accidentally pressed. they also seem to have an incredibly long life as i have pressed them all in excess. the scroll wheel itself is, unlike my previous mouse, still functioning appropriately without any noticeable degradation either but has very little resistance to it so clicking middle mouse sometimes scrolls up or down one. the shape of the mouse is satisfying to hold and left/right/middle mouse clicks are responsive and clicky. i imagine i am going to have this mouse for a long time, barring someone intentionally taking a large hammer to it. now for the software. the program used to run the mouse (it doesnt have a proper name just Gaming Mouse Config or GMC i guess) is a solid barebones bit of work which could use more polish overall as well as options in the macro manager section. specifically, the only real detrimental piece is that all macros (and i assume any other mouse button presses) have a minimum delay of 1 milisecond between each character the mouse would generate. this is incredibly detrimental in games where you may need to type a command into a games chat bar to illicit an action but at the same time need to press other keys. the time it takes is short but still long enough to cause the macro to screw up because of receiving extra input during the typing phase and in the same action screw up whatever it is you may try to be doing at the same time. if this gets fixed, macros immediately become something that can be used at any time. the other thing that would be nice to see in the macro manager is more options for macros. an option to set the loop option to loops macro while button is held would be nice, as well as an option to insert delays into the macro itself (so to make the macro press a button, then another a set specific time afterwards), other potential options would be to allow macros to remove either the press or release part of a keypress instead of removing both, and giving macros access to more computer based functions including mouse positioning and movement and mouse buttons 4 and up. another thing that would be nice to be able to do would be to be able to change the scroll wheels color. it seems like it would be able to do so since it can hit multiple other colors as is but the users have no way of changing it to their own specified colors unlike the rest of the mouse and on that note it would be nice to be able to save user generated colors to the color palette or for the less interested user, to be able to turn the lights off entirely. all in all, this is a solid mouse with a usable GMC that could really use more work. definitely worth the price but might not be suitable for users who use macros heavily. would be 5/5 but macro issues bump it down a star. so, please please please UtechSmart look into improving the GMC (and potentially for your other mice as well) as macro use with this mouse is impractical due to the forced 1ms delay between all key presses from the mouse.

Edited, Jan. 8, 2021: I wanted to write this revised review sooner but of course, Amazon has to approve all reviews and then I forgot until now. Anyways, Ive dropped the review down to three stars because this mouse is just average. You cant hold down the button next to the LMB and press another button on the side, i.e. binding top button to Ctrl and pressing a side button to double the amount of button presses. As previously mentioned, you cannot remap the DPI buttons whatsoever. The wired mouses software is much more in-depth and lets you do all of these things, from what Ive researched. After using this mouse for several weeks, the side buttons are no longer consistent in feel and sound. Some buttons are still tactile, while others are almost silent and mushy. The right click feels much softer than the left click, to the point where I almost dont realize Ive pushed it. The only saving grace for this mouse at this point is the fact that its wireless. I wont be returning the mouse as its not worth the hassle, but Im definitely going to just stick with a Logitech G600. For the price of the wire, I can enjoy double the button presses with everything being customizable. And its cheaper a majority of the time. The pouch it includes is nice, and Ill definitely use that. The mouse is not a bad mouse, its just not exactly what I need for my playstyle. Like I said, its just average. I knew getting into this that I couldnt remap the DPI buttons, but when I found out about the lack of multi-button support and the wired mouses counterpart having much more in-depth software...I was very disappointed. I really feel like the issues Ive come across are software related, but I dont foresee a software update coming anytime soon for these mice. *****Original Review Below***** Please UtechSmart, let us remap the two buttons under the scroll wheel! I personally never change my DPI once I set it via software, but having the option to use the buttons for something more functional would be nice! Pleeeeease. I know there are several other reviews mentioning this. Those two perfectly good buttons are unused otherwise. Created macros also do not show up in the macro list when attempting to assign them to a key. Because of these two easily fixable software issues that have STILL not been updated, Ive docked a star. As for the actual mouse, its great! First impressions, I was definitely pleased to see a carrying pouch and a detachable braided USB-C cable. I bought this mouse as a substitute for my G600 while I travel, as there is no wireless version of the G600 yet. The driver software is included via a very snazzy looking business card that flips out into a baby USB drive. It does the win+r command and types in a command to open a Dropbox with the software files. The buttons themselves are alright, theyll definitely do the job. The scroll wheel is good, though I wish it tilted like my G600 too. But as thats a hardware thing, I can accept that tradeoff for wireless connectivity. Clicks are not offensively loud like some mice, which Im definitely grateful for as Ill be using this while traveling. However, the side buttons are a bit audible, much louder than the G600, but still not terrible. (If you have a Nintendo Switch, the side buttons sound similar to pressing the face buttons on the joycons.) The finish on the mouse is...different than Im used to. But its not bad, just a bit textured. Its not smooth like a G600 or a Naga, but more like a soft sandpaper, if you will. The entire mouse feels like that except for the shiny section in the middle where your palm rests, and the side buttons. Theres a spot under the mouse to store the tiny USB dongle, and its magnetic rather than snapping in. A very nice touch as I have short fingernails and trying to pry something like that out would be a nightmare. I also enjoy the resting spot for your ring finger, and although its not a button like my G600, its still second nature for me to have a finger there. The third clicking button I use on my G600 was just moved to the left of the left mouse button, which I am perfectly fine with. Its not a bad placement and I can easily reach it plus all twelve of the side buttons, effectively doubling the button inputs. Getting onto the software, its...usable. When I first installed it, I could not for the life of me get the colors on the mouse to change. And as I was searching for the solution, suddenly about 15 or so minutes later, the lights just started cooperating. Very odd. It works flawlessly now so I have no complaints, just confusion. The software lets you choose what buttons you want to use, but you have to choose the option Key Combination and just press the key without any modifiers in order to do so. Just in case anyone has any confusion like I did at first. The lighting is all one color, no per-key RGB here. Which is fine, my G600 is the same. I do enjoy the amount of lights though! The scroll wheel illumination is very nice, and the logo illumination is bright. However, the lights on the front of the mouse seem to be different colors between the three grills on either side, which isnt a big deal to me personally. Mapping keys (once I figured it out) was quick, changing the DPI setting via software and disabling the other DPI profiles (hence, making those buttons useless) was painless. Im grateful the software allows macros, but I couldnt get them to show up in the macro list when I tried to assign them to a key, which, like the DPI buttons, makes them useless. TL;DR Pros: The mouse comes with a nice pouch and braided USB-C cable. Feels good to use, a decent wireless substitute to the G600. Mapping keys was quick and painless. Lights are bright and seem to be fairly accurate. (Note: You cannot change the four lights next to the DPI buttons, so I turn mine off.) Mouse weighs similar to a G600. Cons: THE SOFTWARE. Seriously. Please, let me remap the DPI buttons just like the side buttons (which the wired version allows) and let me have the ability to use my macros. If I knew coding and could fix it myself, I absolutely would. Literally the only things wrong with this mouse are software related. I dont understand why these issues havent been fixed. If you can have a fancy business card that runs an entire string of code to download software, why cant said software be fixed?

So I have been a die-hard Logitech user for a very long time, but have come under the [strong] impression their quality has been tanking for quite a few years now. I have gone through three replacements of my G604 wireless gaming mouse now because there seems to be a persistent right-click anomaly where holding and depressing the right mouse button actually flutters that signal to the computer. Its not consistent, it can clear and come back, but when it happens I cannot even right-click and drag items in Windows because to the computer it looks like the right-mouse button is being rapidly clicked. Add to that the new G Hub software is very buggy, doesnt always properly detect games, AND that Logitech makes you jump through hoops for a warranty replacement, and I was on the hunt for something completely different. So that background is by way of saying that this is a replacement for my G604 and my comparisons are directly related to that idea. In that regard the mouse actually has a better quality feel. Its solidly-built, and all of the clicks are nicely damped, including the scroll wheel and all of the buttons. This gives the mouse itself a pretty high-quality feel to me, although if you prefer crisp clicks you may disagree. Its also nicely textured for excellent grip all over, and the slider pads on bottom are replaceable. They include a spare set. The battery is built-in, so no more swapping batteries. Battery life is dependent; the ON/OFF switch is actually 3-position, which I think is brilliant. You can turn it on with no lighting, or with the adjustable lighting enabled. This is great because I have my PC on for ~12 hours a day, often for work. When doing work I disable the illumination, so the batteries go quite a few weeks before they need to be recharged. Keep in mind this is ON half the day, every day. I imagine if you use the illumination constantly this would go way down, but I only do so when gaming after hours. The arch of this mouse is considerably smaller than most Logitech gaming mice. This may be a plus or minus depending on the size of your hands. I have very large hands so for me its a small minus, but not at a make-or-break level. The DPI adjustment buttons are dedicated also, meaning they cant be repurposed using the software. This I also consider a plus, due to how inconsistent G Hub was with detecting games. Now comes the mixed bag part. The SW is very clear, easy to use, and building a macro is 10x easier than Logitechs method. You can insert or add any number of events, name the macro, then assign to any of the 15 programmable buttons. HOWEVER, I have found that this software sometimes forgets parts of my macro. Not entire macros, but a step may intermittently disappear from a string I built, usually a delay function. If I add it back in it may remember it for a while, but forget it again next week, or the week after. I am using v3.0.0 of the software, but the support website is probably the worst part of the experience. It looks like it was made by teenagers, and many of the support files are in a zip format and are corrupted, so I honestly have no idea if theres even an update for the SW that will fix it. So there you have it, good, bad and the ugly. Get it at a discount and itll at worse make a good back-up mouse.
