I was looking for a heavy dish. This is not a heavy weight dish like the description states. The 6.6 lb description must me for how much food it will hold? The shipping weight is correct. The dish is thick but only weighs a few ounces. I suggest this is not used as a water bowl.

I live in an especially windy area due to living in a flat, country setting. I wanted a heavy, durable, large water bowl for my GSD, and this is the one. It has not yet blown around in the wind, even when empty. It holds more than enough water for my thirsty guy. It isnt made of stone, so it doesnt crack or break with use. An added bonus that I hadnt thought of is that the water doesnt get hot like it would in a metal bowl.

Smaller than expected, I thought 106 ounces was bigger, but still works well
