I bought it to run a direct line to my tv.A direct is much faster than wifi.

I purchased this product because I had an old cable connecting my home modem to my router. I wanted a good quality cat 6 cable to link the two together to give my router optimal speed and performance. I found this one on Amazon and thought Id give it a shot. This cable arrived promptly in two days thanks to Amazon Prime. I usually crimp my own cables as I work in the IT industry and it isnt a hard thing to do, but I wanted one that was pre-assembled for home. The cable is pliable enough while maintaining good protection for the small wires insulated in the cable. The clip release mechanism functions flawlessly making this cable easy to seat into an RJ-45 connection and making removal a breeze while keeping it locked in place when needed to be. The cable is performing as promised thus far and Im very very pleased with it. I got to throw away a poorly insulated beige colored cat 5 cable and got to upgrade to a black one with better insulation. I attached a picture just to show the router connected to the modem. I know the cables are a mess right now but Im moving and I plan to clean that up soon enough :) This cable should work with any RJ-45 connection (Ethernet port) I was offered to purchase this product at a reduced rate in exchange for reporting back on how the cable performed for me. Thus far the speeds are great and Im happy. Keep in mind if youre looking to improve your speeds its going to be limited to what devices its connecting as well as your data speed from your provider or server thats pushing the data for you.

Worked well, very nice connector ends. I needed to stretch a HDMI cable by about one foot and this did the job without having to replace the whole run of cable, some of which was inside the walls.

This came in handy for my Fluke as I got tired of having to remove faulty RJ45 connector tabs from my device. This CAT6 cable passed all tests and is legit. Best if used as an extension or if you are like me - using with a test kit to tone out or validate wiring diagrams. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

My internet guy had mistakenly told me there wasnt an extension chord for what I needed. He was wrong - this is it.

Plug not easy to use.
