Does not lose any connection or slow down the connection like some extensions do, I dont have to organize my dorm based on arrangement of outlets anymore

My internet guy had mistakenly told me there wasnt an extension chord for what I needed. He was wrong - this is it.

This is a beefy Cat6 Ethernet cable with solid connectors on the end that works well in my router and on my Ethernet USB adapter. At 6.5 long it is plenty long for my desktop use but still compact enough that I can pack it in my travel bag for use on the road. I have a USB hub with built in Ethernet adapter that I use on my netbook so I can get connected on the road when there is not a WiFi connection as well as for use on my desktop where the router is literally inches away from my netbook in normal use and the performance improvement is welcome. I have several older cables laying around butI liked the rubber cover on the latch release and the orange color for ease of location in my travel bag. I was surprised by how soft the orange cover and strain relief is and how sturdy the cable itself is. The black cable is very thick and has a strong soft flexible cover and feels very sturdy, even though its probably the inner twisted pairs it feels like it has a inner braid under the sheath. It feels great and is easy to use and transfers data as executed, its exactly what I expected for this price point, very nice. I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Works, fits, would by it again

Works fine. What else can you say about a patch cable? LOL Nice black color?

I ran is through my truck So I could mount the radio body of my icon ID 5100 under the seat and have the microphone up at the front. It works great and it blends in pretty well. This is not the intended use case for this product but it sure does do the job.
