The Vandesail CAT 6 extension cables are excellent. I use them at the termination point for the router so there is less ware and tare to the female connector.

This review is for the Ethernet Cable Cat6 RJ45 Snagless Patch UTP Network Cable 3 foot in the color black by Vandesail. This Cat6 cable can support speeds up to 10 Gigabit at a distance of 37 to 55 meters, at 1,000 Mb/s at 250 MHZ. This cable is also backwards compatible with Cat 5 and Cat 5e cables. Even if you do not have Gigabit just yet, this cable will work fine with the old 10/100 standard. Buying this cable will just make it easier when you do finally upgrade to Gigabit, since it will be one less piece of hardware you need to swap out. This cable is constructed very well, and I expect to get many years of use out of this cable. I would recommend this cable to anyone who is in the need for a 3 foot patch cable. I ran is through my truck So I could mount the radio body of my icon ID 5100 under the seat and have the microphone up at the front. It works great and it blends in pretty well. This is not the intended use case for this product but it sure does do the job.

I purchased this product because I had an old cable connecting my home modem to my router. I wanted a good quality cat 6 cable to link the two together to give my router optimal speed and performance. I found this one on Amazon and thought Id give it a shot. This cable arrived promptly in two days thanks to Amazon Prime. I usually crimp my own cables as I work in the IT industry and it isnt a hard thing to do, but I wanted one that was pre-assembled for home. The cable is pliable enough while maintaining good protection for the small wires insulated in the cable. The clip release mechanism functions flawlessly making this cable easy to seat into an RJ-45 connection and making removal a breeze while keeping it locked in place when needed to be. The cable is performing as promised thus far and Im very very pleased with it. I got to throw away a poorly insulated beige colored cat 5 cable and got to upgrade to a black one with better insulation. I attached a picture just to show the router connected to the modem. I know the cables are a mess right now but Im moving and I plan to clean that up soon enough :) This cable should work with any RJ-45 connection (Ethernet port) I was offered to purchase this product at a reduced rate in exchange for reporting back on how the cable performed for me. Thus far the speeds are great and Im happy. Keep in mind if youre looking to improve your speeds its going to be limited to what devices its connecting as well as your data speed from your provider or server thats pushing the data for you.
