Vera Umbrella Auto Open Water Activated Color Changing (Black Butterflies)

Pink is my color which is one of the reasons this umbrella ticks all the boxes for me. An umbrella should be bright to make a person more visible on a grey day. Its compact, it fits in the glove compartment of my car and opens with the touch of a button. Cant beat any of that.

I have not used this umbrella extensively yet, but it feels solid, and relatively large for the compact shape. I tested the color change on the raindrops and it works well and immediately. (The drops turn peach and pale green.) It is a fun detail to have on a moderately priced umbrella and I am thrilled to see the vintage Vera Neumann designs being repurposed in this way.

I LOVED this umbrella. It was super fun to have and caused a few people to laugh when they saw that it had cats and dogs on it. I really enjoyed how it opened and didnt mind the slightly disjointed closure on it. I saw that in the description the umbrella is advertised to withstand 60mph winds. While I cant totally account for that speed of winds, I can say that it does well under the South Dakota plain winds. It didnt handle my cat though. He decided to attack it during the night when I left it open to dry and its completely broken. Im so sad! Im probably going to be another one! Completely worth the price!!!

The cats and dogs on this umbrella change when it’s wet. I love walking in the rain with this really pretty umbrella!

Use it for work when its raining.

I bought the 1st one in a TJMax, took it to England, and while walking through a village it starting raining....next, people stared, smiled, and told me my umbrella was changing colors..Fun surprise

Wasnt sure this would work, but I bought it for my daughter as one of her Christmas gifts. After opening it she immediately took it to the sink and got it wet to test it. Big smiles all around.

I bought this for my middle schooler to keep in her backpack just in case. Its a cute umbrella, suits a teenager and the color changing cats are fun to watch. The umbrella comes with a sleeve to keep it contained and clean, and is sturdier than I expected for the price. Great buy!
