Vera Umbrella Auto Open Water Activated Color Changing (Black Butterflies)

I bought thi for my aunt, and she loves it.

It did its job which was protecting me from the rain on a trip I just took. The lady bugs changed to red in the rain which made me smile. (Thought not all of them did not sure if it was suppose to be that way or what) It was bigger than I first thought but it still fit in my bag.

I LOVED this umbrella. It was super fun to have and caused a few people to laugh when they saw that it had cats and dogs on it. I really enjoyed how it opened and didnt mind the slightly disjointed closure on it. I saw that in the description the umbrella is advertised to withstand 60mph winds. While I cant totally account for that speed of winds, I can say that it does well under the South Dakota plain winds. It didnt handle my cat though. He decided to attack it during the night when I left it open to dry and its completely broken. Im so sad! Im probably going to be another one! Completely worth the price!!!

I have not used this umbrella extensively yet, but it feels solid, and relatively large for the compact shape. I tested the color change on the raindrops and it works well and immediately. (The drops turn peach and pale green.) It is a fun detail to have on a moderately priced umbrella and I am thrilled to see the vintage Vera Neumann designs being repurposed in this way.

This umbrella changes color in the rain. The week I received it, we had rain for several days in a row...very useful and a very fun conversation article. Also, I received excellent and prompt service.

I bought this for my daughter who is 10 and into pets right now. We haven’t been able to use it as it hasn’t rained yet. Fabric looks great though and opens and closes easily.

I bought this for my cat-crazy daughter lol and had no idea til it rained one day that the white changes color! A fun way to turn something cool into amazing lol. It’s simple and compact which is perfect for elementary age kids. She can keep it in her backpack, no problem!
