Verve Ultra SLS-Free Toothpaste with Fluoride, 4.5 oz. (Pack of 4)

When Rembrandt Toothpaste - Extra Gentle - For Canker Sore Relief was discontinued, I tried several SLS free toothpastes in my hunt for a replacement. Verve Ultra leaves a long lasting fresh mouth taste. Im sticking with this one. I thought CloSYS left an odd metallic lingering taste, and tossed it after one use. Squigle did not leave a fresh mouth feeling, at all. Im not surprised that Verve has been rated so highly on the customer reviews. I like that Verve has fluoride and is made in the USA. Im very pleased with Verve.

I used to get canker sores on my tongue pretty consistently. While sharing that with a dental hygienist, a number of years ago, she suggested I try Verve Ultra, which does not contain SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (linked with increased incidences of canker sores. For me it was magic! Worth the extra Pennie’s spent!!

This is the only toothpaste I can use when my lichen planus is flairing up. Doesnt burn or sting, very gentle and effective.

I switched to an SLS free toothpaste to help with canker sores and this one works great! The flavor is fine although I do wish it was a bit cheaper

My 9 year old has frequent canker sores. I was surprised to find out that his toothpaste (crest kids) as well as most other toothpastes have sodium laureate sulfate which can promote or worsen canker sores. And when he would get a sore, he would complain about how painful it was to brush. So I bought the Verve toothpaste and though weve had it for a few days and cant attest to overall reduction in sores, my son says it feels amazing and no pain at all as he brushes. The gel has a mild mint flavor that is excellent for younger kids and definitely doesnt froth as much as others with SLS. I highly recommend this product.

I use Verve toothpaste because it doesn’t have sodium laurel sulfate in it. SLS causes canker sores for me, and Verve is reasonable priced compared to other toothpastes, and it has a pleasant minty flavor that isn’t too strong.

I’ve been using this product for over 10 years. Tastes great, no cavities and rare canker sores!

Every other toothpaste I have tried has caused my lips to peel and bleed. This toothpaste is great!

As a dentist and practicing oral surgeon for more than 35 years I have had more than a few patients with canker sore complaints...including me. For years only a few toothpaste manufacturers, Toms of Maine and Rembrandt to name two, produced an SLS free brand. Rembrandt no longer manufactures it. There is really no good reason for this ingredient, but every major brand seems to be wedded to it. It has been known for years that SLS is a major cause of canker sores. A few years ago I discovered Verve and have used it daily. It is a wonderful product. Since using it exclusively, canker sores have not occurred for me. By the way, I have no financial or other contact with the company, I just want it continue to thrive so I can continue to purchase it.

Been using this product > 1 year. No cavities. Almost no more sores. When I do get a sore, it is much less pronounced. Because Verves product has no SLS, the sores are far less aggravated from brushing than when I used any other (pick a brand) toothpastes
