> 3 dayIts a solid projector that keeps its promises. It feels a bit noisy, but in eco and silent mode its bearable. Still a bit too pricey, even with all the nice features which should be a standard for theese products. Maybe go for the 1080p version since the 4k version isnt native but uses pixel shift, therefore the price difference seems a bit much.

04-04-2025I’ve done a lot of research and this is definitely one of the best purchases I made. Because of the size and shape of my living room, I had to get a short throw projector to make the image fit my 100” screen from about 5 ft away. The projector is pretty bright even during the day. I like the 3X fast input feature that makes the gameplay more responsive. I can also connect my phone, or laptop directly to the USB-C to mirror my screen. The built-in speaker also produces decent sound that I don’t need to use external speakers. Pros: Bright Short Throw Quiet Decent built-in speaker USB-C connection with power Auto keystone Low input lag and gaming mode Cons: Remote is not backlit No horizontal keystone No USB type-A power Overall: I highly recommend this product for any home entertainment system and it works great if you have limited space.

Absolute Kaufempfehlung.

> 3 dayI didn’t purchase this specifically for the 3D feature, but I was hoping it had it. Nowhere in the Amazon description, nor on the Projector Central site does the term “3D” even come up. In fact, many reviews say it does not have it. HOWEVER, I just purchased the PX701-4K and it absolutely DOES SUPPORT 3D!!! I didn’t have to do any firmware updates. I just put in a 3D Blu-ray in my 3D Blu-ray player and it worked! As far as the 4K goes, it is beautiful! It is the pixel-shifting process, but it is still a huge improvement on 1080p. AND I projected it on a 250” screen and it looks glorious! This projector is totally worth the price.

Greater than one weekFor gaming or animation, this projector is freaking AWESOME! The picture, colors, and brightness are really great, and I have zero lag on any online games where it is crucial. Although there are better projectors for movies, this one still serves the purpose very nicely. It also still has a clear picture even when there is light in the room with sunlight coming though the windows. All in all, really great buy for $700 for both gaming and movies in one. I also recommend a 120 screen to go with it. Beware: you will never want to downsize after this.

> 3 daySo Ive ordered the 748-4k 11 times. Yes. Eleven. The first one I actually recieved it! Now it has some major glitches. If you play something in HDR, then go back to SDR? Its colorspace is stuck and looks wrong. You have to go into the settings, turn the colorspace to hdr, then back to sdr. Every, single time. Plus there were noticeable lines where something internally was bad. So! I sent it back. The next 3 times I ordered it, Viewsonic cancelled it. Every, time. So I was curious, put a different address and name down and they sent it! Problem is, its likely the exact same one. Same issues. But I thought, the picture is really superb past the glitches, Ill live with it. Died within a month. They sent a bulb out, which did not fix it. Likely the dmd chip died. So! I sent it back. Tried ordering it multiple, upon multiple times and every retailer cancelled it. Until the 11th time, Amazon actually sent it. Opened it up, its a ancient benq projector thats been in a smokers home. Even had a tag on it where viewsonic shipped it to amazon first. 11 times trying to order a product, and they do this? Im figuring Im a joke to them at this point. So I ordered the Optoma uhd38 and IT JUST WORKS! No hdr to sdr glitches. Now it isnt nearly as bright, even though both claim 4000 lummens. The 748-4k has a better 1.3x zoom compared to 1.1x on the optoma. The 748-4k is the winner overall picture wise. The issue? The actual case and fan, isnt nearly big enough to actually cool the thing. In normal youre probably fine. Problem is eco slows the fan down, and thats where Id bet why it died. After owning the p700hd for years, and STILL going strong, I figured Id give the 748-4k a shot. But the p700hd doesnt run as hot, has a much bigger case and fan to cool it. Viewsonic has became a nightmare to buy from, and would highly, HIGHLY reccomend consider something else.
