> 3 dayyou can do better than Viewsonic projectors, they are good if you dont know what the movie is supposed to look like. but in any other case, you be better off choosing one of the cheaper optoma like the hd28hd, or benq.

Greater than one weekOnly objection I have is there limited source input options unlike other projectors. I dont use it for games, but I guess that is what this model is made for. I dont have anything to play on it over 60 refresh rate so I cant tell the advantage of the 240 rate. IDK if it does 3D, based on the menu options looks like not.

> 3 dayThe short throw distance made setup a breeze. I put this on my coffee table in the living room and it gave me 100” from less than 5’ away. This projector is bright, and the color is amazing. It also has this 3X fast input feature built-in for fast action games. I tried street fighter on my PS4 and felt really responsive with no lag at all. I highly recommend this projector for gaming and movies.

> 3 dayVery happy with this purchase. Video quality is excellent, even though I’m still shooting at a wall. Great for high quality 4K image and very fast refresh rate, looks amazing. I bought a long 4K HDMI cable and connect with a receiver and it works great! After lots of digging, I found it to be comparable with much more expensive 4K units for less. You do need to watch out for placement, as the image can’t zoom or shift much, and put time in to figure out settings, but you will be well rewarded once it’s all in place!

> 3 dayBeautiful picture quality despite is not a native 4K, but after one month of using this projector one white dot appears on the screen :(, then after 8 months and 1000 hours the projector shutting down in less of a minute, so at this point is useless, no response back from the customer service.

> 3 dayVery good projector. The 1080p looks great on my 100 inch screen. I have it about 6 feet away from the screen because it is a short throw projector. Its great for a smaller room. I did a lot of research and chose this over the optoma short throw because it did not have a manual zoom. Also ViewSonic has a 3 year warranty on parts and one year on the bulb. Im very happy with it.

> 3 dayFor the price this is a fantastic unit, it does have some light whine from the color wheel, but is otherwise superb. When calibrated, colors are good, sharpness is excellent and the response time is truly stunning from a projector. Having owned a number of high end projectors over the years, we are truly amazed that a sub $1k unit can pack so much punch!

> 3 dayLooking to spend a “k” on something worthwhile? Look no further. Got sun glasses? Yer gonna need’em!! I thought “eh, 4000 lumens, brighter than my old one but who’s gonna care?” Um, mom will. If your not careful the Viewsonic logo will be etched into the paint. May look like a watermark to some, but mom knows her paint! Or maybe get a screen. Are you a gamer? Don’t know why LTT hasn’t reviewed this yet. This projector should be standard equipment for sim racing!! You can turn down the brightness and such. Has a lot of settings to fiddle with. And run directly to the video card and make it your primary monitor. Then you’ll unleash “The (video) BEAST!” There’s just no comparison in my book. I went from a decent $150 projector to a $1000 one, and a bottle of sunscreen. I’d be careful viewing outdoor scenes with sunshine in them! Collect those magnifying glasses from them kids too!! They’ll have a heyday! If ya got the cash DO IT!
