> 3 dayIm actually surprised how good this is for gaming. I know its advertised as a gaming projector but really didnt think Id use it over the TV. Im positioned about 4m away on a 120 screen and gaming is really good. No its not as bright as the TV but I only really game at night so its not the end of the world as its dark enough. Watching in day light isnt great. I have a window measuring 120cm x 210cm about 1-2m from the screen to the left of it and any time before 8pm (currently british summer), if you value image quality is pointless. Once I have blinds in the window Im sure it will be fine but I avoid daylight watching at the mo because its just too washed out for me. Once its a bit darker though its spot on. Dont bother with SD picture (depending on screen size) on 120 SD images are appalling. Go FHD or 4k though and things are so much BETTER and make sense again. Pretty easy to set up. Definitely fiddle with picture settings a bit. You can get so much more background detail etc when you play about compared to out of the box settings. Colours looked really weird on sport out of the box too. Just pause an image on the screen and see what looks best to you. Overall very happy at £700.

> 3 dayGreat projector. Plenty bright Unfortunately, my HP Laptop with UHD video card is outside the range of what it accepts. Need to create a firmware update so the projector can process the signal. The projector works fine with older HP laptops, Microsoft Surface and Samsung tablet.

> 3 dayIch bin zwiegespalten, was diesen Beamer angeht.

> 3 dayThis is my second projector and we have a dedicated theater set-up in the basement that is totally light controlled. One problem with our set-up is we have ductwork right where a projector would typically be mounted on ceiling. This being short throw makes it possible to mount on ceiling in front of ductwork. For now we just have it on a table. Great super sharp image. Colors really pop. I didn’t notice any issues with brightness uniformity but I’m no video-phile. Zero noticeable lag when gaming on ps4. The speaker is not too bad but we have surround sound hooked up. One thing I did notice is if you have any slight wrinkle in your screen it will be more noticeable on this short throw vs normal throw projector. I’m using a diy blackout cloth screen. So after 2 days use I’m super impressed and would totally recommend this projector. I have to tinker with it a little more and get it hung on ceiling yet. One feature I did notice is there is a setting to select the color of the wall/screen you’re using. If you’re looking to buy this to break out for some quick gaming/movie action and you’re just using your wall this would be helpful.

> 3 dayIts fantastic. 4k projector (even tho not real 4k) at a very affordable price. You might need some color tuning based on how picky you are with colors. Personally I stuck with the standard setups for colors, as its quite balanced if used in super eco mode.

> 3 dayThis projector is not native 4k and the throw rate according to veiwsonic from 5 mtrs is at least 120 inch I could only manage a90 inch projection on my 133 inch screen and went through all settings many times olso if u don’t use super eco mode fan kicks in louder I’ve been given a replacement from Amazon and hopefully it will be better as I’m not saying it’s a bad projector good pic remote is a nightmare but that’s me DONT take this review as not to buy as it’s worth the money if it’s not faulty as I believe my 1 is veiwsonic is a great company so recommend them for a budget 4k projector but would hold on for newer editions as there constantly bringing out better ones

> 3 dayI’ve done a lot of research and this is definitely one of the best purchases I made. Because of the size and shape of my living room, I had to get a short throw projector to make the image fit my 100” screen from about 5 ft away. The projector is pretty bright even during the day. I like the 3X fast input feature that makes the gameplay more responsive. I can also connect my phone, or laptop directly to the USB-C to mirror my screen. The built-in speaker also produces decent sound that I don’t need to use external speakers. Pros: Bright Short Throw Quiet Decent built-in speaker USB-C connection with power Auto keystone Low input lag and gaming mode Cons: Remote is not backlit No horizontal keystone No USB type-A power Overall: I highly recommend this product for any home entertainment system and it works great if you have limited space.

Greater than one weekI already have a Ben-Q short-throw projector ... but wow, this ViewSonic redefines short throw. I can plug this into the laptop dock on my on my desk, and it projects a big screen image on the very wall that my desk sits against ... 2 feet away from the projector. This feels like the end of ever having to worry about whether your home theater is long enough to get a big screen image projected. That problem feels fully solved with this project. Its truly amazing. And the picture is fantastic, to say the least.

> 3 dayEverything was fine except for a white spot in the middle of the screen. Thankfully, its not visible on anything except black scenes, but I expected better from a new product.
