> 3 dayI really liked using this projector. It was my first ever and having 4K @ 60Hz was awesome. I played mostly games on it but did watch a few Netflix shows on it. I do wish it had 120Hz but I know that would bump up the price of this laser projector. Returned it because I currently no longer needed it. Still recommend it though.

Greater than one weekI have a projector, but it is not a short throw, and its a pain to use in my living room because of the room needed to project a large image. This Viewsonic short throw projector needs very little space to project a large image. I have it hooked up to my Amazon Fire TV, and I am loving the image it projects. This is a fantastic projector for any reason, but because it is a short throw projector, it is a great fit for almost anyone. You wont be disappointed.

Greater than one weekThe brightness and resolution are great but there are very obvious purple glowing borders around all black or white images and text. Im assuming this is a problem with the projector and Ill need to get it exchanged. Update: the replacement is exactly the same. Ill still keep this because its the most affordable 4K and when playing games or watching movies I wont notice this. But man am I surprised this is how its supposed to look. And why arent more people complaining about it. Its so obvious. The images I posted dont even look at bad as it does in person. In my images its more blue because my phone is messing with the colors. But in real life its a much brighter purple.

> 3 day1/30/23 Projector stopped working after a year and a half. Contacted Viewsonic and was approved for RMA and was informed that the bulb went bad. It’s a pretty good projector, but the bulb didnt last 20,000 hours in SuperEco mode as advertised. The bulb warranty is only for 1 year and cost ~$200 if you purchase a bulb through them. I decided to purchase a lamp from a third party and just had them return the projector without a working lamp. 3/7/23 Projector came in, i replaced the lamp and after turning it on I noticed that the image was warped in the middle and had to send it back to them for another RMA. 3/23/23 Projector came back and projected a perfect rectangle image out of the box. However, I noticed that the zoom knob was turned all the way to the left(when facing the projector upright) which projected a smaller image. After testing the zoom setting, I noticed that the device was only able to project a perfect rectangle shaped image when the zoom knob is adjusted to show the smallest image up to right dead in the middle. Shifting the zoom knob beyond the middle showed warping at the top center of projected image. I contacted Customer support to report my findings and was issued a replacement. And it comes with a bulb! 4/7/23 Projector came in and is running great again. Projected image is a perfect rectangle from the lowest to the highest settings using the zoom knob. It did come with a new lamp, hopefully this one lasts 20,000 hrs as advertised. Overall, it’s a solid projector from a solid company. The projector is bright, has low latency and high fresh rate. Perfect for gaming, watching movies or even using it as a PC monitor. Only downside was the bulb that came with my projector did not last as long as it was advertised. Customer support was great and responded in a timely fashion.

> 3 dayI already have a Ben-Q short-throw projector ... but wow, this ViewSonic redefines short throw. I can plug this into the laptop dock on my on my desk, and it projects a big screen image on the very wall that my desk sits against ... 2 feet away from the projector. This feels like the end of ever having to worry about whether your home theater is long enough to get a big screen image projected. That problem feels fully solved with this project. Its truly amazing. And the picture is fantastic, to say the least.

> 3 dayFor under $1,000 it is a great projector. The focus lever doesnt move smoothly so takes a few minutes to get it where you want it. Once everything is set up it throws a great picture. 3 months after owning, got a white pixel. It is still under warranty and their response was quick, but the customer is responsible for paying to ship the item back ($30 for me with insurance).
