Used this along with Tarminator spray to remove some very stubborn tar on my car. These sponges provide abrasive action without scratching the paint or clearcoat. I always keep a couple of these handy, as I find myself needing them periodically to remove tar, sap and bugs from my car. Highly recommended.

Beware, this thing is very hard to clean. Which for a sponge it should be a key requirement, unless you plan to use it and lose it.

I needed some extra scrubbing power for those stubborn bug guts that are tough to wash off when cleaning my vehicles. This item works as described and was a great deal.

It cleans bugs ok... Had to buy a special bug cleaner though for tough ones...
