Virtual Architect Home & Landscape Platinum Suite

I have used CAD software in the past, so I was aware there would be a learning curve, and that no CAD software is simple. However, I am very disappointed that the software is highly troublesome - I have had frequent freezes (my OS is Win7 64-bit). Its frustrating to be working with a design and get frozen out. Although there are periodic auto-saves, whatever it was I am working on disappears.

I bought this software to do a basic home design, after spending countless hours trying to install it, i finally had to contact support to find out why the password/ID did not work. After multiply e-mails and calls to Tech Support i was notified that the program was no longer supported by Nova Development, although they are happy to still sell an unsupported and useless product. Do NOT purchase any product from Nova, period!

Very cheap, ...like old technology. Not worth $20.

DO NOT BUY FROM NOVA DEVELOPMENT - THEY SELL SOFTWARE THATS NOT COMPATIBLE AND ITS INCORRECTLY MARKED ON THE PACKAGING. AND THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR ERROR.

Absolutely NOT NOT NOT user friendly. The styles are very dated and to change any scales is a total nightmare. Scanning photos not easy and forget it if you have surveys or blueprints to scan it even worse than a nightmare. So frustrated! What I was excited about getting for my birthday has turned into the worst gift ever!!!!! Dont waste your time or money.

Not worth it at any price. I bought it based on item descriptions but it definitely not user friendly . Still waiting on rebate after four months and six calls. I will avoid this company like the plague.

Say you wanted to draw out a small (square) basement to aid in a redesign?.... Forget it, get some graph paper and a tee square. The time it would take to become proficient with this software would be better spent playing angry birds.

You can build walls and such, but you have to build the walls, the floors, the ceilings, the roof, etc... room by room.

It does not load the entire program. After halfway through my project I realized I didnt have a Terrain Tab.
