We are really happy with this food dispenser. It took minutes to put together and weve been using it daily for about a month now. We normally board our cats when we go out of town and purchasing this feeder meant we were finally able to leave them at home where they want to be. The dispenser works perfectly. It takes a little practice to determine the portion sizes. but theres a guide to help figure the amounts; we just tested it against a measuring cup to make sure we were feeding the right portions size. The portion you select is for EACH dish, not the total. Once its set, there isnt much to do except to fill it and clean it once in a while. One of my cats gets agitated by anything shiny so I am not using the included dishes. Instead, I sat their ceramic dishes in the built in holders. My dishes are slightly small, but they work well enough. Im not using the audio announcement so I cant comment about that. The sound of the food dropping in the dishes is more than enough of a signal. We feed our cats at 4:30 am and 4:30 pm because thats what they like. We are happy to not have the 4:30 am wakeup every day. I love that they are always being fed the correct portion of food at a consistent time. Weve never used a food dispenser before so I have no comparison, however, I believe that this was a good purchase.

I love feeding my cats but this feeder has made being a cat owner super easy. If I have a late night at work I don’t feel guilty because I know they will be fed. Also there is no more getting woken up in the middle of the night! This thing is amazing!! if you’re debating on getting it, GET IT RIGHT NOW!

Good feeder, but I noticed that when the hopper starts getting low, the portion sizes seem to decrease because there isnt any pressure from food above. I just manually add food then to supplement their daily amount. Just something to watch. Also, I dont think I needed 2 bowl feeder. Thats on me, but Alvin and Theo could have shared a bowl. Overall, I do like this feeder. Alvin and Theo run to the feeder when the recording turns on and food is dispensed. It is fun to watch.

Bought for Christmas gift for my daughter who is now working full-time. She has 2 beautiful cats so this was a perfect feeding solution! They took to it immediately and she is thrilled with it too! I totally recommend this pet feeder and would purchase again!

So far it seems to be working well. I like the locking lid and my cat has only turned it over once. Because of the divider, she can’t get her paw up the feeder to score more food. The one thing I don’t like is plugging it in. Yes I know it has batteries as well. But my cat is constantly unplugging it and my kitten wants to chew the wire. May just leave it on battery power only. Food distribution is even. Can’t figure out the microphone yet but it’s not necessary anyway. Over all much better than my older feeder.

Easy set up. No longer have to worry about rushing home to feed them.
