Ur better off buying a manual timer. The timer on this product, doesnt always work. U can turn the light on/off from the app, that doesnt always work either.

I had one of these plugs that I was never able to get to connect to the wifi. They were kind enough to replace it but it took me many attempts to get that second one connected. I was not able to set a schedule so had to manually turn it off and on through the app. Then, I changed internet providers and have not been able to get it reconnected. I have other plugs from Kasa that Ive had no trouble with at all.

Simply unbox, plug in, open the app, and connect your plug. I love being able to turn the plug on and off from my phone (the plug is in an unreachable location). I can also turn the indicator light on or off so its not distracting in a dark bedroom. Very easy to install and even easier to use in my day to day.

I received these smart plugs from Vont as a product tester and found them to work very well. I installed the Vont Home app on my Android phone, which easily discovered and added the two devices. I then linked the smart plugs to both Alexa and Google Home and found these apps to be a very simple way to control the switches. Here are what I found to be the smart plugs pros and cons... Pros: • Very simple and fast to discover and pair with Vont Home app and to integrate with Alexa & Google Home. • Two plugs fit nicely onto one standard outlet (see pic). • Blue LED indicator may be enabled/disabled in Vont Home app, which is nice for rooms where these LEDs could be distraction or cause of insomnia. • Solid, heavy feel. • Higher 15 amp max is great for higher draw items such as heaters (see pic) or dumb coffee makers -- I connected an old coffee maker to one of these plugs and made an Alexa skill where saying Alexa, make coffee! would start my coffee maker on demand, and Alexa, Im cold! would turn on my heater. • Very fair/low price in my opinion. Cons: • The Vont Home app still needs refining (which Vont is doing) to make it easier and more clear to use. While it was easy to discover & add the plugs, the apps shortcomings are mainly small things like the color difference between on and off switch is gray vs. slightly darker gray (see pic) instead of green vs. red, for example. Setting up timers with Vont Home is a bit clunky. With the simple Alexa or Google Home integration I honestly dont see any need to use the Vont Home app once the plugs are set up. I highly recommend these plugs, and thank Vont for giving me the opportunity to test them.

Once the app was set up, we made several attempts to add new device. The set up took awhile and the rules to adjust the timer was confusing and fussy. We wanted the light to come on and off at a certain time. Once it finally connected, it works great! The light comes on at its specific time and off at its set time. The box contained 2 plugs. Now we can set up the other one:) I would purchase again.

You have to refresh multiple times to make sure they are off and on. Sometimes you turn the appliance off on the phone app and it won’t turn off so you need to keep refreshing it until it does. Eventually it will after a few times out of your lucky on the first try. It does the job tho.

Works great although app can use a design upgrade it can be a little confusing when setting up schedules. Would definitely buy again if needed.

I purchased these to use because I will be having a knee replacement in a few weeks. It is easy to turn my light/lamp on with just a voice command. HOWEVER, the lights keep flashing constantly; even if you turn on Bluetooth. Turning this feature off in the app did nothing. My son finally covered up the lights to stop the flashing; which can only be seen at night/in a dark room. Revised review: I purchased these in November and didnt use them for awhile. They are already broken. Cannot use. Will never purchase again. My son is an IT guy and he cannot get them to work.

Bought two of these when I really only needed one but it was so much fun setting it up I immediately used the other one. Easy integration with Alexa great product.
