The plugs come in a minimal amount of packaging. I appreciate that the packaging is recyclable and minimal. The plugs are easy to install. I setup Vont Home in moments, and then adding the plugs, including discovery was super smooth. If youre putting this on a two plug wall outlet this will only take one plug. Thats nice. The one oddity was that scheduling the device to turn off everyday at a certain time, and then turn on at a certain time is not under schedule, but instead under rules. Not a big deal, I found it quickly and once I did it was really easy. Id expect a future version of the firmware to either change this or to include a note under the scheduling section. I have a few smart plugs and assuming this lasts well I would recommend getting this one.

Found the PERFECT use for my Vont Smart Plug to fix an old dilemma!!! Super stoked! So Ive managed a community center for the last 18 years and when we have programs with 50+ participants, we bust out the old 48-cup coffee percolator. This thing does not have any buttons nor on/off switches. You just plug it in to the outlet and it starts heating up. My issue with it is that it takes approximately 35-45 minutes to brew a whole pot and whenever we started a program at center right at opening time (usually 8am), it meant that I would have to get to work at least half-hour before opening time, on top of my 40-minute commute to work. Now, I can simply either put it on a schedule or manually turn smart plug on with the app before I leave home for work and by the time I get to work, coffee is brewed and ready to be enjoyed by our program participants! It really is the simple things in life that brings me joy and the Vont Smart Plug is one of my favorite simple things that brings a smile to my face! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

I found the product to be excessively complicated unnecessarily for the simple purpose it was designed for.

I had to watch some YouTube videos on how to use them then figure it out on my own. Had they come with directions at all I probably would give 5 stars. It was very difficult to learn . You have to set them under what is called ‘rules’ as well. I hope this helps someone. Once I figured it out I LOVE them.

These Vont smart plugs (2-pack) were really easy to setup with their Vont Home app. After setup I was able to easily get Alexa to work with them as well. I can control both a floor lamp and Christmas Story Leg Lamp in my living room easily with the app or by voice using Alexa. I have also created a nightly schedule for them to turn on & off automatically. These have consistently worked well, and are much more versatile than using an old-fashioned plug-in timer that is DUMB. Love these!

I have not used these smart plugs too much since receiving them, but have used them primarily to turn on a humidifier and run it for 2 hours in our bedroom before we go to bed. Scheduling was easy to setup and the humidifier turned on then off at the correct times. I have not used the Alexa integration yet. Overall, I would recommend these smart plugs as they are easy to use.

Overall the Alexa enable Vont plug is super easy, youll need to create a Vont account to link to the Alexa platform, then you can control on / off functionality, set timers, and specified on / off times for anything plugged into the smart plug.

When it comes to bluetooth, computers etc...I am so lost. I previously purchased a plug with hopes of programming it. I was so frustrated with it. I packaged it up and sent it right back. So I purchased this smart plug so I can control my christmas lights. It wasnt that hard to set up. I downloaded the app..followed the instructions and I was so proud of myself that I was able to set it up ALL BY MYSELF! My lights comes on and off at the times I set. This plug is absolutely wonderful. The best part is I can control the lights with my smart phones as well. Now I havent figured out how to make it work with my Alexa yet..but I will soon. Im determined. I hightly recommend this plug.

I love these smart plugs! They make it easy to control any the lamps and connected devices from ones phone or Amazon Echo. So, I can turn in the lights, music, etc. from one convenient sweep, which makes setting up for company super easy. The one note is to have ones Blu tooth on, have the Vont app downloaded, and have ones wifi password at the ready to easy set-up a breeze. Its also possible to see weekly usage, set up timers, and set up a vacation schedule. Highly recommended!

I love being able to have an easy, low profile physical switch in an outlet. And the additional smart function and ability to turn on / off the unit from my phone is amazing. The ability to have a schedule for an outlet has changed my life for the better. Very happy with this two pack. The packaging of this product is protective, clever, and sleek. honestly the best I’ve seen for any consumer electronics.
