So far I’ve only used it for turning lights on and off upon entering and leaving a room. Looking forward to using it to control holiday lights.

Great power plugs, were easy to install and have a nice design. I was able to quicky add them to my vont app with the other vont items, and they are super user friendly. Lastly, they are in an ok price range (tot the cheapest buy the qualitt is there, so cant complain).

Bought two of these when I really only needed one but it was so much fun setting it up I immediately used the other one. Easy integration with Alexa great product.

I use these to help balance the power drain of some of my appliances and set up lamps to come on automatically in the evening. Some of our appliances are difficult to reach and I love that these smart plugs have the ability to set up timers for my appliances.

The Vont Smart plugs are such a welcome addition to our home. My husband had previously purchased a different brand, and I was jealous. I got the Vont plus because I know the brand and the quality, having used other products of theirs. Packaging is always impressive and efficient. Setup is a breeze. I have the plugs integrated with Alexa and have no issues getting both of them to respond. I have them on a schedule and love that feature. All in all, I would choose Vont before the others!

I received these smart plugs from Vont as a product tester and found them to work very well. I installed the Vont Home app on my Android phone, which easily discovered and added the two devices. I then linked the smart plugs to both Alexa and Google Home and found these apps to be a very simple way to control the switches. Here are what I found to be the smart plugs pros and cons... Pros: • Very simple and fast to discover and pair with Vont Home app and to integrate with Alexa & Google Home. • Two plugs fit nicely onto one standard outlet (see pic). • Blue LED indicator may be enabled/disabled in Vont Home app, which is nice for rooms where these LEDs could be distraction or cause of insomnia. • Solid, heavy feel. • Higher 15 amp max is great for higher draw items such as heaters (see pic) or dumb coffee makers -- I connected an old coffee maker to one of these plugs and made an Alexa skill where saying Alexa, make coffee! would start my coffee maker on demand, and Alexa, Im cold! would turn on my heater. • Very fair/low price in my opinion. Cons: • The Vont Home app still needs refining (which Vont is doing) to make it easier and more clear to use. While it was easy to discover & add the plugs, the apps shortcomings are mainly small things like the color difference between on and off switch is gray vs. slightly darker gray (see pic) instead of green vs. red, for example. Setting up timers with Vont Home is a bit clunky. With the simple Alexa or Google Home integration I honestly dont see any need to use the Vont Home app once the plugs are set up. I highly recommend these plugs, and thank Vont for giving me the opportunity to test them.

Constant struggles using app and device connection. Nowhere near worth the hassle!

Found the PERFECT use for my Vont Smart Plug to fix an old dilemma!!! Super stoked! So Ive managed a community center for the last 18 years and when we have programs with 50+ participants, we bust out the old 48-cup coffee percolator. This thing does not have any buttons nor on/off switches. You just plug it in to the outlet and it starts heating up. My issue with it is that it takes approximately 35-45 minutes to brew a whole pot and whenever we started a program at center right at opening time (usually 8am), it meant that I would have to get to work at least half-hour before opening time, on top of my 40-minute commute to work. Now, I can simply either put it on a schedule or manually turn smart plug on with the app before I leave home for work and by the time I get to work, coffee is brewed and ready to be enjoyed by our program participants! It really is the simple things in life that brings me joy and the Vont Smart Plug is one of my favorite simple things that brings a smile to my face! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!

I love this product. Its super easy to use. Plug it in and turn it on. Download the app and link it. The app is easy to use and configure to auto turn on and off. I can go on vacation and set the timer without worrying the house would be too dark. Another great thing about this plug is the flexibility to use Google home or Alexa to control the plug. I have other vont products and I can validate their products are user friendly and easy to connect to their app. You will not be disappointed with this brand.

I own a whole lot of Vont products: Smart Scale, Smart wifi Strip lights, kitchen scale, solar outdoor lawn automatic lights, smart light bulb, bright led flash lights, rechargeable bicycle front and rear lights, and the super useful headlamps for any DIY task in the dark. All the Vont products I own are still going strong and they never disappoint. One time my strip lights won’t connect to the wifi, thus command via Alexa won’t work. Vont looked into it right away and sent me a replacement brand new strip lights even though they determined that the fault was on their server side. They fixed the issue minutes after and sent me another one to keep.
