> 24 hourIve bought a lot of IoT widgets over the past few years. Rarely does one configure and work the first time. This is the exception-configuration of the hub, this switch, and a motion sensor was seamless, and I did not run into any issues. The YoLink app works great, but to really get the most out of it, control it using Routines from the Alexa app-from there you can have finer control of the operation of the devices. Want the light to only come on when the motion sensor triggers in the evening? Done! Want the light to automatically turn off after 15 minutes? Done! Want to shorten the on duration in the middle of the night? Done! Want to interoperate with other non-YoLink equipment? Done. I cant wait to build out the rest of my system with YoLink components. I didnt see this anywhere in the specs, but note that the switch fits a common Decorator-style switch plate, so you can integrate it physically with other standard switches.

> 24 hourI needed something to help me turn the lights in my garage on and off. This switch integrated with my current Yolink setup very well. The switch was easy to install and works even easier.

> 24 hourBought this to primarily operate outside lights to come on at dusk and off at dawn. Was easy to install, however, was not mentioned in instructions that it had to have a common wire connected. Only after it not working and searching internet did I find this requirement. The only other thing negative about the switch is that its meant to be used alone as a single switch. It is all plastic and there is no hole to attach a face plate to, except the one it comes with, which snaps in place. I wanted to use it in a double gang setup as shown in picture. There are holes in it which line up with the face plate, however, they are not threaded and too small for standard face plate screws

> 24 hourI decided to give the YoLink light switches a try after purchasing a Yolink hub and flood sensors a few months earlier. I needed to replace some much older motion sensor/light switch combos that only worked with incandescent bulbs. Of all the options I looked at, these were by far the best value and I liked the wide range of products that work together with the same hub and app. Initially I was looking at Zwave or Zigbee products but decided on YoLink after comparing prices and doing the math. Most of the YoLink devices can be paired together directly in addition to pairing with the hub, such that simple automations will still work if the Internet connection is down (e.g. activating a switch with a motion sensor or door sensor). On the downside, YoLinks communication protocol is proprietary and not compatible with APIs like OpenHAB. But so far the apps built-in automation features have been enough for my needs. The only other thing I would nitpick is that you cant configure the LED behavior on the switch itself, which some competing products allow. Alexa integration works great. The YoLink app keeps full history of switch state and allows configuring the switchs power-on state (recovery after power failure), which can be on, off, or last state. Device firmware upgrades are easy, though I would not recommend kicking off more than one or two at a time, as they all need to download from the hub. Overall Im pretty happy with this purchase as well as other products in YoLinks ecosystem.

> 24 hourThe switch was easy to install and works well with the YoLink app and Google home. Two screws that do not match a standard US wall boxes were included not sure for what. The switch itself is made from very cheap plastic and feels flimsy when pressed. It replaced Lutron switch that have much higher build quality.

> 24 hourI use this switch to control an overhead heater in my garage . I really like it because the Yo-Link app allows smart interaction between various sensors and switches. I have the Yo-Link garage door sensor too and have the app programmed so when the garage door is opened more than 7 minutes it turns the heater off. Works flawlessly.

> 24 hourI own multiple YoLink products include a Base unit, smart plugs, temperature sensors, and an outdoor motion detector. Those devices seem solid and the communication between them is excellent. Decided to try out the wall switch and was disappointed. The physical switch did not work out of the box, remote on/off worked good, the quality of the device appears low compared to Wyze and Kasa. For example, the screws that attaches the household wiring to the device cuts into the wiring, typically there is a compression plate that prevents this from occuring on typical wall switches from the hardware store. Please increase the quality of this device and I may try again.
