> 3 dayInstalls like a regular wall switch. Used it to turn lights on at Sunset and go off at 11:45pm. Programming to set to Sunset was a little cumbersome using the Automation function but I was able to figure it out. Once you know it, it was easy to use. I highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayBought this to primarily operate outside lights to come on at dusk and off at dawn. Was easy to install, however, was not mentioned in instructions that it had to have a common wire connected. Only after it not working and searching internet did I find this requirement. The only other thing negative about the switch is that its meant to be used alone as a single switch. It is all plastic and there is no hole to attach a face plate to, except the one it comes with, which snaps in place. I wanted to use it in a double gang setup as shown in picture. There are holes in it which line up with the face plate, however, they are not threaded and too small for standard face plate screws

Greater than one weekI really love the yolink ecosystem. they are super easy to add to the system, so i was excited to migrate from my zwave switch that controlled my outside garage lights to this system. Overall it works and does what it is designed to do, but i do have a few minor issues i hope they address in future light switches. 1) As most others have noted, the red LED light is sort of annoying. I have it in the garage so it isnt that big of a deal, but i would not want these throughout the house in main living areas. THe red indicator light when off is just very bright and annoying. I would rather it be a very small led indicator in the bottom corner. Or if you could change the LED maybe a different color would be better, and/or brightness level. if that was controllable. When on it is white which is fine. 2) The overall feel of the switch is not the best i have seen. Where you make the connection for the electrical, the screw is what bites into the copper to hold it in. It does make a very secure connection when tugging, but most other switches have molre of a plate that squeezes the cable on the inside. Again it seems to be ok but just something i noticed. 3) My switch came with the arrow facing down (opposite of the instructions which tell you to have it facing up). Support noted it was fine to install, but again just noting that it was not what the directions had. 4) THe switch housing is a little thicker than the other traditional switches, so i think my cover plate was not fully flush on the one side. i took a picture so you can see although it may be hard. Id rather it be designed more like a traditional switch and if needed be able to tear off the ears as some setups do require that. 5) I would have loved if this was an energy management capabilities to keep track of how much power, but not a deal breaker, especially at this price point. 6) The software does have sunrise/sunset scheduling, but i am hoping they include more advanced such as x minutes before and x minutes after to tweak my settings a little better for my needs. Again overall i like it and great price point but hopefully they address some of these in future models.

> 3 dayI installed two switches for overhead lights in my workshop that is located 300’ from my house. These switches are on opposite walls, requiring crossing the shop just to turn on/off lights. I also installed a YoLink Motion Detector over the entry door. So now when you enter, the overhead lights come on and stay on as long as there is motion inside. This is great as sometimes, I’m going in and out several times a day. I can also use the app on my phone to check the status of or turn any YoLink device on or off. Plus I can get notifications on my phone if the motion detector senses anything.

> 3 dayFirst, let me say Im a huge fan of YoLink devices. I have 18 sensors and alarms around my house. I purchased this switch to go with a motion detector. The motion detector was less than stellar, and I left a review for that. The YoLink switch replaced a similar Kasa brand smart switch. The YoLink switch is decent, but not quite as nice as the Kasa switch. It installed easy enough, and is SUPER easy to link to your app. The overall feel of the switch itself is simply a little cheaper than what Im used to, when comparing it to Kasa. The part I do not like however, is the red light in the switch button when the switch is off. This switch is in my basement, so I can live with it, however, I will not be adding these to my living room or kitchen until something is done about that light. It looks cheap, and its bright when the room is dark. I understand that some folks might want a way to find the switch in the dark, but Im not a fan. Perhaps if YoLink added a way to control that red light from the app? Overall, not a bad product, but it could use some refining.

Greater than one weekI needed something to help me turn the lights in my garage on and off. This switch integrated with my current Yolink setup very well. The switch was easy to install and works even easier.

> 3 dayI have a few sensors from YoLink and everything works and connects well. Be sure to scan the QR code on the switch before installing it or you need to pull the switch back out. My main problem with the switch is that it just feels cheap. The rocker panel is soft and sloppy. When the switch is on, there is a big, red wifi symbol lit up on the switch. The plastic behind the cover is far larger than necessary. And the switch comes with screws that dont fit an electrical box. So you need to get your own 6/32 screws. The quality just isnt there.

> 3 dayInstallation is super easy. But... Scan the switch after connecting to power, but before fully screwing it into the electrical box. Otherwise, you must take the switch back out to scan it.
