This movie is awesome! The limited edition blu-ray is great, this is some of the coolest packaging I have seen lately, it is definitely worth the extra money on a purely aesthetic basis...As for the film, well, it is one of the most entertaining movies I have seen in a long time. This film never stops delivering heart-pounding action sequences and witty dialogue. The plot is straight-forward and it is well-acted. Wanteds special effects sequences are great as well. I highly recommend this movie for all action fans and if you like to collect movies go ahead and splurge on the limited edition...it is well worth it!

Worked great and was cheap!!

If you cant get hold of Taken, and this is all youve got, then there are possibly bits that are enjoyable. But killing a trainload of innocent bystanders to get one supposed baddie really doesnt do much for my appreciation of the hero, but then, isnt that becoming acceptable these days ? The hero really needed a uniform like Supermans to make his transformation believable, (did I really write that !). And be warned, he is not into rats, no matter how cuddly. As an exercise in the ethics of killing people it remains ambiguous, perhaps deliberately, but maybe worth pondering. Car chases have never turned me on, but if you like them, this film has better than the average. And the only pro (as opposed to all the cons) - well - who can complain about Angelina Jolie - I wont.

Fantastic action non-stop. One of Angelies best. Will not disappoint.

This is a really good action movie with some good twists and turns. I must have watched this at least 4 times now

this is a great movie although i never read the graphic novel so i do not know how close to the story it is. i like how they swerve the bullets. this may not be for kids to watch. 10 out of 10.

My biggest beef with this story was that Angelina Jolie got top billing and as far as Im concerned, she was just a secondary character. I guess her status gets her top billing even if she has a three-second walk-on. She has a substantial part, no doubt, but James McAvoy is the real star here, and he did a pretty decent job. The story was certainly not what I expected! I thought it was going to be a conventional cops-chasing-the-bad guy type of thing, but instead it was about super assassins, with Matrix-like super powers. That being said, the movie was a lot of fun. Though I like Angelina Jolie, I dont like the fact she got top billing while the real star of this movie was tucked in there behind her name. This is the nature of marketing and show business, I guess. Overall, still a good movie and a great vehicle for James McAvoy. Recommended.

I had really been looking forward to this flick and while it didnt blow my mind, the action scenes are some of the most inventive since a little film called The Matrix came a knocking back in 1999. Make no mistake about it, this doesnt shy away from the gore at all. You will get bucket loads. The story and dialogue are pretty good, but the actors are the ones that sell what could have been an eye rolling buffet. Angelina Jolie underplays the part and it works, while Morgan Freeman gets to show a little of his darker side as an actor. Good stuff from both of them. James McAvoy as the nerd turned action hero grew on me as the film progressed and by the end I found myself rooting for him. When I think of Wanted, I think of Shoot Em Up with a better story, characters and more inventive action stunts. Quite simply, if your a guy you will get your moneys worth.
