WD 4TB Gaming Drive works with Playstation 4 Portable External Hard Drive - WDBM1M0040BBK-WESN

I have had it for about a month and I keep having issues stating it needs to repair. Complete the repair and some times it happens again a few minutes later.

Worked seamlessly on PS4, worked as advertised. Have had it about a month, no issues. Great option to have, we loaded every game we have on it and there is still tons of room.

Installation was simple and the hard drive works great with PS4. Lot of space to store games . No more deleting to add new games , saving time loading games and downloading updates . I’m happy with this hard drive.

First it says 4tb but it was actually 3.68 Ive seen them be a little under but where is my extra 320 gb Im missing thats a gross amount to be under you have to formate it to the playstation yourself like Amy other hard drive that doesnt say gaming. All in all Im just sad about the 320 missing gb thats alot for 100 bucks I could of got any other hard drive and not had that much missing

500gb not enough for any dlc games

I am a real human and this product was perfect for what I needed. PS4 does not have enough space. Now new games are downloaded into this so I don’t have to reinstall games woo hoo.

Excellent product. Easy to set up and use. Comes with a card which shows you how to format the drive. Able to plug in, format, and start downloading games within five minutes. Storage capacity end up being 3.68 terabytes after format. Perfect for use with the PS4 gaming system. Im extremely satisfied.

I was very excited for the value and performance of this item when I first got it. Extremely easy to format, and it was good to go right out of the package. The reviews are a little misleading because I honestly think to give this product an honest assessment, it needed to be given some time. I bought this external hard drive on March 2019. Everything was fine up until November 2019, when I noticed that I was always getting prompted to repair my external storage. That was manageable considering I was still able to access my external hard drive’s content. I followed the All of the online advice, rebuilding the database, restarting, etc... up until today, Feb 2020. Less than a year from purchase, I’ve reformatted this hard drive every time I turned on my PS4 because the console does not recognize it anymore. I’ve lost all my saved content on the hard drive. Safe to say, that the external hard drive has reached the end of it’s life, and I’ve reached the end of my patience. The value got me excited, but I feel that there might be better ones out there that’s got better longevity.
