The size of memory is amazing these days. i plugged it into the Xbox One S. It immediately recognized it and allowed formatting. i installed a game and was good to go. in reading the manual, it says you can unplug the drive and plug it in another Xbox to bring your game. I havent tried that yet, but it sounds pretty cool.

Just what I needed for my ps4!

I got this here & I love it. I plugged it in the back of my Xbox one in the SS usb slot & turned my Xbox one on & it pretty much did all the work. It has a USB so you dont need a power cord. All you do is hit format & your Xbox does everything else. Now I have plenty of room for games & apps on my Xbox. I would highly recommend!

If youre on the fence of buying a HDD or not, but it now. I tried to hold off as long as possible using the default 500GB for the Xbox One. Everyone should know that after setting up your Xbox, you wont have anywhere near 500. Super easy to set up, plug it in, finish the installation wizard, and have the peace of mind you can download more games.

Great product, it was easy to install with tons of storage space for all of my games on my P4.
