WD 4TB Gaming Drive works with Playstation 4 Portable External Hard Drive - WDBM1M0040BBK-WESN

I bought this for my boyfriend during prime day deals and he loves it!! He just connects the hard drive to the front of the ps4 and just leaves it on the side of the ps4. I am happy I could finally get him the space upgrade he needed.

Great add on for my xbox since the one i got was the smallest size drive. was confused at first how to set this up on my xbox as the main storage location, after i finally caved in and read the instructions it was the easiest device to set up and very quick.

The product has the storage it said when I bought and holds stuff nicely EXCEPT it randomly tells us that it was disconnected improperly and needs to be repaired CONSTANTLY even when no one is touching it. I’m really hoping I didn’t waste this much money on a hard drive that is going to crap out on us. I changed the cord so hopefully that will solve this issue.

My firat external hardrive, the 2TB option i purchased. I have had it a day i must say for the PS4 it took a minute to set up and works well with the ps4 and is very straight forward to use.

I used this for about a month now and its great as an external for the PS4. But the wire that comes with it is trash, the load time with that wire is horrible. So my advice is get a different wire, I got a usb 3.0 from JSAUX and my load time is much better for it.

The PS4 has a USB port in the back as well as the front so you can hide the cable and the HDD. Just plug in the cable and follow the simple instruction to format the drive and it adds 3.68TB of additional space. I believe the manufacturers claims that it will hold over 100 games (depending upon their size). So far, I cant tell the difference from the internal drive.

It came in super quickly, and all it took was a click to connect it to the ps4. Its been awesome having all my games there at once and I’m only half way through the storage. Great product, highly recommended.
