> 24 hourLarge storage, good price and manufacturer. Installed as replacement in security system, worked great. Easy install, started right up. Formatted and good to go. Ran great until almost full, about 80-90 days. Received recovery error message. Clicked yes recover. After said format required. Formatted and restarted, would not boot up. Requested to return drive to seller. Received return institutions fast and friendly. When I was removing the hard drive, I decided to try reinstall just to see what happened. After removing and reinstall I started it up and it booted quietly and so far works as it should. Not sure what happened but I am glad that it is working again. Will see if all is well and keeps working. Thank you customer service.

> 24 hourThe drive is still a great drive, however this listing states it has a 2 year warranty. It does not have any warranty with WD as it is a white label OEM drive. So if you want cheap, this works great. If you want a warranty as well, search elsewhere.

> 24 hourI seem to have bought many of these 2.5 inch 2TB hard disks. I have six in hand right now. One is working well performance wise but is reported as having so many errors that its predicted to fail soon. One is brand new, and offers up way above 100 MB/sec read and write. The other four work - but their performance is abominable. They might get to 50 MB/sec write average over a 1GB file.. Aja system test lite shows why - the drives are sometimes having to retry many many times, so that at times their throughput goes to just 4MB/sec. The image shows one of these disks. The left hand graph should be smooth - its limited to 38 MB/sec because the disk was mounted temporarily in a Voyager S3 disk adapter - slower than USBC. But as can be seen the performance drops precipitously twice. The read graph on the right is better, but disks need to store information. So - never again.

> 24 hourI wanted to add a larger HDD for storage to my ROG laptop. This was just perfect! Super-light weight. Not a noticable difference after installation.
