> 24 hourThe drive is still a great drive, however this listing states it has a 2 year warranty. It does not have any warranty with WD as it is a white label OEM drive. So if you want cheap, this works great. If you want a warranty as well, search elsewhere.

> 24 hourGot this as a second/extra storage drive for my laptop. Installed easily, started up on the first boot, but it is quite a bit slower than an SSD drive, and Ive noticed overall slower performance when using it.

> 24 hourI have a sager np7280 with 3 1TB drives. the system drive was starting to fail and the used space on the other 2 was about 80% so I bought 2 at first, cloned the system drive and 1 of the others. I like that hese drives are slimmer than the ones I am replacing, system preformance has improved and that the laptop is restored to a fantastic working state. I have decided to bite the bullet and replace the 3rd one as I definitely like having the extra storage space up from 1TB to 2TB

> 24 hourSo far, so good on these 2TB drives. I bought two because my two 1TB HDDs were getting close to capacity. The older 1TBs were 7200RPM and these are only 5400RPM but there hasnt been a very noticeable drop in performance. The 1TBs (which I still use) are Hitachi TravelStars made in Hitachis Global Storage Technology facilities, which Hitachi acquired from IBM and they are first class facilities. WD has since acquired Hitachi and has folded all Hitachis products under the WD label. If WD keeps to the same quality that Hitachi did, these should be fine drives that last quite a while. If not I will be editing this review. Note there are 4TB and 5TB HDDs in the 2.5 inch size but these are 15mm high and WILL NOT fit in any modern laptop, so 2TB is the highest capacity you can get for a laptops internal dvive bays.

> 24 hourI wanted to add a larger HDD for storage to my ROG laptop. This was just perfect! Super-light weight. Not a noticable difference after installation.
