> 3 dayThe first thing I did was format and speed test in a Startech PCIE adapter. Got 3044MB/sec speed on a 64GB test file with CrystalDiskMark64 which is very fast! I need the speed for recording lossless video with a Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K. The small random writes are a lot slower as you would expect without built in RAM cache

> 3 dayI first thought this was terrible as it performed horribly using a Sabrent USB-C enclosure and an Anker USB-C enclosure but then I tried a Kingston stick and got equally bad results. In the end my conclusion was the USB/C enclosures are terrible on Macs. Put it in a Windows PC and it’s doing great.

> 3 dayOrdered and installed this about a week ago, was going to move some important files but decided to see how it goes first and sure enough it died yesterday. Not detected as a Bootable disk, bios recognized it but wont boot on it. Tried recovery, Nothing!. Tried to upgrade thru new install, Nope!. Tried new installation the same thing even after it was formatted still bit readable mind you I have work Database setup on this Garbage. This is just messed up. Now I gotta wait another couple of days to get another one? To work?. If you thinking about buying this DONT DO IT!.
