> 3 dayFour weeks in my machine I get a warning that the SSD is degrading! I dont know how a brand new piece of.... equipment could possibly be spent this fast. I was really happy with the WD_BLACK 4BG version I purchased two years ago from another vender. Be sure and plug your SSD in the first day. I waited few weeks and received the system warring 36 days after purchase.

> 3 dayThis is the second one that I got. Cloned my previous drive over. The system loses the hard drive during boot up. Continually blue screens and then reboots. Takes over an hour to get to a stable Windows if it happens at all. Definitely will be looking for something else to replace it.

11-04-2025I already had a WD Black 500 GB SSD, I upgraded to the 1 TB , and when I went to put it in, they dont include a screw. Now I have to order a screw kit from amazon. When you buy a spinning disk, they usually include a small bag of screws, and everyone has spare screws for disk drives and chassis mounts, but no one has spares of the screw to hold an M2 NVME SSD in place. So now i had to remove the other SSD until I can get a screw kit. so lame. I checked the packaging multiple times, no screw.

> 3 dayworks as description. nothing to complain. But I made a mistake. My laptop doesnt support this one. So, be sure to check the compatibility before purchase if you want to buy it to upgrade the laptop SSD.

> 3 dayI dont believe this came with a motherboard screw, so be sure to source one while buying just in case. I was able to find a matching screw from an old laptop. Other than that, what else is there to say other than wow this thing is blazing fast! I quickly went over 1GB/s in real world file transfer speeds without even trying, and with a 600TB endurance rating this drive could last me for years. WD offers a 5 year warranty which means you would have to fill this thing up and empty it again every 3 days for 5 years straight in order to break the TBW threshhold in said time
