> 24 hourM.2 Drive came with nothing but inside a anti static bag labels with the S/N on it and nothing on the drive itself to distinguish it’s a WD_Black at all. . Not to mention the serial is invalid on WD’s website. . Wasted 2 weeks waiting just to return and refund.

> 24 hourI recently bought a gaming PC but it only came with an HDD which caused games to run very slow and loading times were ridiculous. So I did some research and bought this to see if it would help. Now, i can easily play games without any problems at all!

> 24 hourI have had several types and brands of drives in my computers over the decades. In all cases, Western Digital has proven to do as claimed and be reliable. I installed this SSD, and a Sabrent Rocket NVMe Gen 4 1T, using the two slots on an X570 motherboard, so the tests results are probably a fair comparison. The Sabrent started out as very impressive, hitting numbers close to as advertised, but has developed a problem with slow write speeds -- ironic given its superior write performance when new. (I need to try different drivers and re-format to see if write speeds will recover.) Meantime, I bought this WD, and its proving to be excellent. File transfers show an impressive, sustained speed throughout the transfer. Ive included screen shots of tests done when the Sabrent, new and now, and two recent tests on the WD. Ive had dozens of drives over the years, and Ive concluded that WD is the most reliable. The only time a WD drive has failed it was my fault -- those 10 000 rpm Raptors needed aggressive cooling, which I failed to provide. FWIW, both these NVMe drives were installed with heat sinks.

> 24 hourId say its totally worth the price, even more, youre actually getting more than what its worth. The sequential I/O speeds are absolutely insane and is very close to what is advertised for (YMMV because setups differ). To enjoy the speeds make sure your NVMe slot supports Gen4 NVMe SSDs. For me, it was literally opening up the back of my machine, and sliding in the SSD. Worked like a charm. Would happily recommend and buy again (with more capacity. got 1TB this time, will hopefully find a 2TB next time).

> 24 hourBeware if you have an MSI - Ryzen build. The drive disappears from BIOS 50% of the time. So basically useless and means you have to constantly reboot until it appears.

> 24 hourExpanded my PS5 storage with this SSD endorsed by Sony. No problems during the install. I guess you can run the drive just fine without a heatsink, but I did attach a cheap one to be safe.
