Bought it to expand for the ps5 when the m.2 update went live and couldnt be happier. All I had to do was plop it in, put the heat sync on, turn on the PS5 and it did the rest.

Mu facil de instalar en la PS5, el equipo lo reconoce automaticamente y posterior a su formateada queda completamente funcional.

Only buy this hard drive if you want to replace everything on it every few months or so. I just downloaded a game update, and everything downloaded and installed correctly. Once I launched the game, the PS5 crashed, and upon restart, the PS5 informed me that the internal 2TB m.2 hard drive can not be repaired and must be reformated. The drive worked fine up until this point, but what difference does that make? If the drive just randomly breaks under normal usage, its completely unreliable in my opinion. I sure as hell wouldnt trust any critical data to this drive, and will definitely remember to avoid Western Digital in the future. In the meantime, Im out $300 AND a hard drive.

Product works exactly as described and bedroom. Top-notch and I must say!

The storage is what I needed, the heatsink is a plus, but why is there no m.2 screw to install with. I literally had to yank off an m.2 screw a ssd cover thing the MOBO came with. To be honest, the MOBO is at fault as well but yikes. Aside from that pain, I love it.
