easy to install, expensive but great speed and capacity

Super simple install. Worked immediately. Had the entire capacity immediately. Other options are available, and perhaps less money. But didnt want issues. I recommend it if you want a bullet proof drive and dont want issues.

I have Sabrent, Samsung and Western Digital m.2 SSDs in my PC and all the SN850s died within a week. avoid this crapstick

I bought this card and an M.2 NVME to PCIe 4.0 x4 Adapter with Aluminum Heatsink Solution. Installed on an Asus Z390-A mobo I used to build a computer last december. I play a lot of strategy (not real-time!) and RP games that are up to 50 or more GB a piece, and which tend not to load very fast. This certainly improves that! One comment is that the SSD is almost Plug and Play, but if you use an extension card like I did to get the full functionality, you will need to enable NVMe in the bios to get it working. With Asus I could just search for the toggle in the bios to find it. Really like this, jumped on it on Prime Day.

This NVME is simply the best and the fastest I have ever had! Altho my cpu and motherboard only supports gen3 connection, I am still getting 3,700 mb/s for read and 3,500 mb/s for write. However, the only downside that I am having with this drive is that it gets a bit too warm even at idle sitting at 42° and I’m not sure if this is because it is installed too close to my gpu. Other than that, this is an excellent drive that I would recommend anyone to go for.
