Wasted a day trying cloning recloning with different software, installing os on wiped ssd etc. but in the end it turns out this is not compatible.

This is an absolute excellent NVMe Gen 4 drive. Super-fast with great software. I dont think I would need anything faster since the NVMe Gen5 have to have huge heat sinks and they also get very hot. Very happy with this NVMe made by Western Digital. Bought a larger one for my data and this one runs my operating system. Would absolutely buy again and highly recommend Western Digital. THey have always been on the top for quality and speed for decades.

Installation très facile dans la ps5 en suivant le tuto sur le site Playstation : nécoutez pas ce ce que disent les tutos YouTube. La visse qui sert à maintenir le disque dans le logement sur la ps5 et située en position 10 avec le petit écrou dessous. Reçu aujourdhui, installé immédiatement, je nai par contre aucune référence sur la longévité de ce disque SSD. 2to a cette vitesse pour 299€, enfin de la place pour moins cher quune ps5.

Bought this for a PS5 and it worked perfect. The transfer rate of this SSD stick is actually better than what is integrated into the PS5 (and higher capacity). Being that my PS5 had not been setup yet I put this SSD in and during the setup made the M.2 SSD the primary install location which made a difference in load times, etc. So, if youre in the market for 1TB M.2 NVMe for your PS5 I recommend this item. There are other products out there with varying prices but this one fit my needs and price range (and already had a heat sink which is really needed in the PS5 because it does build up heat more than your average desktop.)

If you’re worried if this will work with your PS5, don’t fret. This was easy to install and the games work seamlessly off this drive. I haven’t experienced any issue. Plenty of YouTube videos exist to help install, and it is easier than it sounds. Storage is about as good as it says
