WD_BLACK 2TB SN850X NVMe Internal Gaming SSD Solid State Drive with Heatsink - Works with Playstation 5, Gen4 PCIe, M.2 2280, Up to 7,300 MB/s - WDS200T2XHE

I have ten different M.2 drives, all but one are NVMe, one is SATA. Five like this one are gen 4. I actually have two of these drives and the only other one that is in this speed class is a Samsung 980PRO. I purchased this drive after scouring reviews and looking at specifications, then looking for the price break point, and the best available deal. I was able to get this drive for $99.00. I have attached a screen capture of the CrystalMark numbers from a machine with a core i7-1260p and 32 GB of DDR5 RAM. Not up to the rating numbers from the manufacturer, but pretty fast none the less. After running the test the driver was at 125 degrees F. I am pretty pleased with the performance of the drive so far, but while the durability ratings are good, only time will tell in real world use. I purchased two of these drives to allow me to keep an updated clone of the system which I could swap into the system if I had a failure. Hopefully, it will be insurance that I wont have to use.

Der Einbau in die PS5 ist sehr leicht und schnell. Leider will meine PS5 die SSD nicht formatieren. Auch nach mehrmaligen einbauen, neustarten, etc. Funktioniert die SSD bei mir leider nicht. Schade. Wird zurückgeschickt...

ACHTUNG. Der Hersteller WD gibt zur 4TB Platte eine falsche Dicke an. Die 4TB ist beidseitig bestückt und passt daher nicht in alle Laptops.

Extension de stockage sur ps5. Le seul inconvénient cest le prix. Au sinon, nickel !

Bought for my ps5 so to have some proper storage in it. Works like a charm, but do make sure you have a heatsink for it. I recommend sabrent m.2 ps5 heatsink as this touches the ssd perfectly for heat dissipation.

Tons of more storage and very easy to install. Took 5 minutes, hardest part was taking the covers off the PS5.

Cuando realice la Compra lo compre con disipador, cuando recibí el paquete llego sin disipador, Seguro fue un error del empacador, en verdad una lastima, de todos modos recomiendo comprarlo sin disipador, ya ahorras un poco y no te pase lo mismo que me paso a mi. Pero recomiendo a %100 el SSD Muy Bueno y fácil de Instalar.

Bought this to upgrade the storage on my PS5. Installation was easy and the system had no issues reading the drive and formatting it. You get the full capacity advertised on the drive for storage, no space is reserved for system usage or anything. The drive speed is phenomenal and well beyond the recommended specs set by Sony. Easily the best SSD on the market right now and is a must purchase for any PS5 user.
