Western Chief Kids Character Umbrella

I bought this for my great, great niece who just turned 2 yrd old last month. The diameter of the umbrella is her height. She is small for her age! Very petite and very determined. She has learned quickly how to open and close the umbrella all by herself so your little ones will too.

My daughter loves pink, purple, flowers, etc. She has been asking for an umbrella and we found this one which seems to fit all of her favorite things! Decent enough umbrella. Easy for her to open and close, and withstands her banging in around (or her little brother playing with it). Has not been used in a super heavy downpour, since she has not been out in such a storm, but her umbrella has kept her dry in a regular midwestern rain shower. She loves it, so mom & I love it. Glad we bought.

super cute, but isnt going to hold up. It is starting to tear at the seams already and weve only used it three times. My son loves it though, so we will probably just duct tape it.

Updated - 12/8/15 Today the umbrella broke. My son had it at school in his cubby which he said it fit all the way in. When he got out of school to use it the main pole was bent. I went to straighten it and it snapped. Made for children it isnt very sturdy. I would not buy this again. Instead I went and bought a generic looking very sturdy smaller more compact umbrella for a cheaper price. Very disappointed in this item. My son wanted a new umbrella and i saw this one for him. It arrived without the tip on it. I dont have the box anymore and to return it I will probably have to pay for the return back. Disappointed for the price I paid that this was missing parts.It is a cute umbrella and he has used it many times since the purchase.

Not expected to last long unless I can keep it put away and not allow my granddaughter to play with it. The three piece set is really cute

Purchased this umbrella as a Christmas gift for my 4-year-old granddaughter who this year has adopted a full-on Batman persona!! She couldnt be happier, having received a number of Batman insignia gifts. However, I have a beef with Western Chief Kids Clothing Company. I wonder why the description calls this a Little Boys Batman umbrella... Either sexist labeling, or perhaps an error on their part, but I just cringe when I read gender labeling on so many items, from so many companies, that continues to direct young minds to one gender or another. I really thought, certainly hoped, that we were beyond that... Otherwise, this would have been a five-star rating.

Umbrellas were a big hit with our toddler grandchildren this year. This one (with the Frozen theme) is well made and the perfect size for our 3 year old granddaughter. She loves it!

My 4 year old son loves the umbrella. He can use it without any help. Its light and easy to open and close. Only complaint is some of the silver paint is gone.
