It is very light

Super cute umbrella! The design looks great and the size is perfect for a child. The quality definitely lacks a little, the material seems really thin, I cant quite tell if it is fabric or purely plastic. Since we live in San Diego and we do not get a lot of rain Im hoping this umbrella does the job. If this umbrella survives until the end of the rainy season or holds up better than I expect I will bump it up to five stars. For now my expectations of the durability are definitely low, however based upon previous reviews its kind of to be expected.

Good product my daughter love it

I have no dislikes on this umbrella! The price is great for the quality you get! It is easy to open and close and the frame is all durable! Great for children and it does not break easily! I am actually ordering another to replace a broken one I purchased for another child, different brand. I should have bought all Western Chief kids! I highly recommend even for the roughest children!

I bought this for my great, great niece who just turned 2 yrd old last month. The diameter of the umbrella is her height. She is small for her age! Very petite and very determined. She has learned quickly how to open and close the umbrella all by herself so your little ones will too.

This little lady bug umbrella is absolutely adorable! The little antennae pop up when the umbrella is fully opened and stick straight up, so cute! Its built just as sturdily as any adult umbrella, made of your basic umbrella waterproof nylon. Its very easy to open and locks in place, but a child may need help in collapsing it. I also purchased the matching rain coat and rain boots and the entire ensemble is as cute as can be!! I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter for Christmas, but its only October and I dont know if I can wait that long!

Nice product. Great size for a first grader.
