Good upgrade from an an average SSD, excellent general read write performance, but cant quite compete with the professional SSDs for 4K workloads.

I brought this to put in my 2017 MacBook Air. The one drive was a Samsung and along with more storage I was hoping to get a bit better performance, sadly I did not. Compared to others on this my read and write speed are 1220write and 1430 read which is slower the the Samsung and also what others are getting. Honestly I’m disappointed and considering a return

The price was just right for this product. It is a great little SSD for installing your operating system on.

It was my first M.2 and I was blown away by its speed but maybe it’s because I’m used to HDD benchmarks lol. Anyways, for its price, it’s really great.

This thing makes even Windows fly...

Its not the fastest NVMe around but its really hard to beat $60 for 500GB NVMe right now from a reliable company (one you dont have to worry about your SSD spontaneously dying for no reason). Easy no hassle install. Love it.
