If you need disk cloning when you install this, look elsewhere. The included copy of Acronis is incredibly slow, and too dumb to recognize the drive if your existing c: drive isnt already from Western Digital. Samsungs come with better software.

Installed on HP laptop that came with a 512GB SSD. Easy to do if you know what you are doing. I did it on an HP laptop. Hard part was opening the chassis of the laptop. Took out old drive, put in new drive and installed Linux on it with no problems. Much faster and much more space.

Opened the package, slotted right into my laptop, reads and write fast, very happy with it.

Use this Nvme ssd with my external enclosure. Copying large files are very quick. But guess copying many small files are still pretty slow.

[Windows 10] When you install your new M.2 into the additional M.2 storage slot, you will have to open the Disk Manager (A.K.A. Create and format hard disk partitions) and right click on your new M.2. It should have a black bar above it. Then you have to format it and it should work fine just fine.

Die Festplatte dient bei mir als Fotoablage um mit Lightroom und Photoshop zu arbeiten.
