> 3 dayIm using it with an ACASIS SSD case and it consistently delivers very nice write and read speeds (>2300/>2700), up to the limit of the case. It gets a bit hot if intensively used but I suspect that one of the reasons is a too thin thermal pad (1 mm), which does not touch the chassis.

> 3 dayThe clone worked great. Only complaint is that the OEM recovery partitions didnt clone correctly. The Crucial clone software does is correctly, so not sure why WDC Acronis doesnt. Install is easy. No heat tape or heat sink but temps are about the same as my old sn530 which did have tape and a sink. This new drive maxed out at 150F during a 30 min file copy from an internal 2.5 SSD. I did have to manually set my boot order via BIOS to get it to boot up. Guessing that is because I have multiple disks. Very happy so far. Will update the review if anything goes bad.

> 3 dayPerfect for an external SSD where youre throughput is limited by the IO, and temperature shall not rise too much.

> 3 dayIt definitely is a good value until the next gen comes down in pricing. Easy to install. The software to help you transfer did well at first, then for some mysterious region, when I went to erase my old drive, it caused both drives to fail. I had to recover my old drive and ended up losing a ton of settings , so I had to restart everything windows wise. Be cautious when trying to erase your old drive.
