My 21 Month old laughs and laughs at this book! She points to everyones belly button when we read this story!

My son loved this book when he was 1 yr old and we gifted it for another 1 yr old who loves it too. My son still likes reading it occasionally even a few years later! I didn’t want to mark it down to 4 stars because it is such a well loved book, but the flaps could be made sturdier as they are not the board book material but more like poster board thickness and glued on to the page, and my son ripped most of them to pieces and the book was often in the “repair shop”. Good book though!

So we’ve only had this book for 3 weeks, it’s already bent and extremely worn bc my daughter (1 yo) LOVES it. She brings it to me multiple times a day and we read it over and over. I’m def not taking away stars for durability. She’s a baby and even thicker board books get worn so quickly. Love this book.

I purchased this for my grandson who loves the lift the flap books. He usually rips the flaps off after a few reads. This book is not only cute but sturdy. It is the only book we have that isnt held together with tape.

My daughter LOVES this book and therefore so do I. Its a lot of fun letting her flip up the flaps to see whats there (I.E. belly button, hands, feet, etc.) She really gets a kick out of it. Only thing is with a 15 month old youve gotta be really careful just letting them read it on their own because it is not made of thick material and can tear easily. I just keep it put away until we can read it together. This is the only reason I am not giving it 5 stars.

my baby knows where her belly button is now. sadly she lifts up her shirt and other family members shirts at the most random of times. its all innocent tho. i love it. my 1 yr old does not seem to understand that books are not for ripping. at present only 3 flaps are left. that is really good as she is a book wrecker. colors are vivid. there is one asian and one black child in the book. it is almost as big as a small note book. it has encouraged a love for reading in my toddler ps she knows all of the main body parts now. the book will reinforce the body part names so your child wont forget

You can introduce this book as early as 9 months to your child. They may not get concept yet, but as you continue to read it they will. Because it clearly identifies each body part in a way they can learn the information. It also can start to teach them how to turn pages because it has thick pages which they can transfer that skill to regular books. It is also a great book I have used for students with special needs. Students with special needs are usually able to identify body parts or point to body parts after reviewing the book as many times as they need too. The book is very short so they can usually keep their focus for the shortbread book. Once again the book identifies body parts in a way they can understand even if they are non-verbal they often can respond by pointing to their body parts. And once again let them turn the pages when they are able to because it is considered a fine motor skill to turn pages. These pages are thick which helps to turn page.

Bought this for my son after watching several Hapa Family videos on youtube where it was highly recommended. Upon arrival, I was a bit skeptical of the flaps cause my son is AGGRESSIVE but they really have help up so well! He seriously LOVES LOVE LOVES this book! Its so cute and fun, the illustrations are so great and have great representation. I love talking with him about where each body part is located that is mentioned in the book and hes really started to learn them! Definitely recommend it to any parent, its a great addition to your kiddos library!

I bought this book for my 11 month old daughter for Christmas this year and Im so glad I did. Although it isnt very long, it is just the right length for babies and younger children. Colorful images and the fun lift-the-flap pages had our baby (and even her 4 year old big sister) giggling along in no time. The book is just the right size to hold in your hands while holding your little one. The only draw back is making sure the flaps dont get torn. My baby was immediately tugging and pulling on the flaps and with the right amount of force, it would tear right off. Even with that concern though, I still would recommend this book!
