IT WORKS PERFECTLY, NOW I CAN USE MY IPAD MINI

Our iPad was for our kids and if it wasnt an old iPad mini 2, I wouldve paid the extra money to get it installed. Its not so much that its hard to install its the fact that youll deal with a lot of glass and it can be very easy to scratch the lcd underneath. It was pretty simple to find videos on how to change this on Youtube. Our screen was cracked pretty bad which meant a lot of loose small glass pieces everywhere. Even when I was super careful, glass seemed to get everywhere. Also a pain to not touch the LCD. The video was right, once you touch it, no matter how well you clean it, it will never look the same. Pro tip: make sure you line up the LCD straight once you put the digitizer back onto the device as its easy to set it in slightly crooked with the new adhesive. Its for my kids, so not a big deal to me, but it would save you on having to open it back up again.

Works great! This was the 3rd screen Id tried - first from this seller. The other 2 I purchased were defective - I was quite happy to find a vendor with a good product! Its pretty easy to replace - the only difficult part is removing the old one - only took me less than an hour in total to do the swap. Pro tip (from not-a-pro) - make sure you remove ALL the old adhesive from your ipad with a quality adhesive remover and clean the area with isopropyl alcohol, or the new screen will not stick.
