White Glass Screen Digitizer Complete Full Assembly for iPad Mini & Mini 2 with IC Chip, Home Button, OEM Adhesive

Our iPad was for our kids and if it wasnt an old iPad mini 2, I wouldve paid the extra money to get it installed. Its not so much that its hard to install its the fact that youll deal with a lot of glass and it can be very easy to scratch the lcd underneath. It was pretty simple to find videos on how to change this on Youtube. Our screen was cracked pretty bad which meant a lot of loose small glass pieces everywhere. Even when I was super careful, glass seemed to get everywhere. Also a pain to not touch the LCD. The video was right, once you touch it, no matter how well you clean it, it will never look the same. Pro tip: make sure you line up the LCD straight once you put the digitizer back onto the device as its easy to set it in slightly crooked with the new adhesive. Its for my kids, so not a big deal to me, but it would save you on having to open it back up again.

I was excited to put this on. Im no amateur as Ive been taking apart phones since Nokia times so Ive had to throw a couple of bricks back in the day to open up those Nokia phones lol...I got this package and installed it but the adhesion was really bad that as soon as I installed it, it was already coming apart, I proceeded to put tape around it to hold it down so it would potentially catch on but it never did. I was pretty disappointed, but the presentation is good just not the adhesive.

Screen is as expected - however it got an immediate hairline crack during very careful installation. Will spend more money next time in hopes of a less flimsy glass.

The digitizer works perfectly. It comes totally ready to connect with all exposed metal sensors taped up properly. It also comes with the one warning that all first-time repairers need to know: make sure the flex cable is tucked forward. If you close it up with the cable sticking to the adhesive on the screen, it will ruin the digitizer. All in all great product.

I should have believed in review here. I repair iPad for my friends and family so I frankly know what I am doing. First of all, I tested before install I realized home button didnt function properly, well I was so positive and thot it because of the film was so tight so I decided to install it and figured it out that home button didnt work at all now I tried to remove the screen out gently but well it broke anyway. Very Very poor quality. Stay away from this screen !!!!

I just installed the new Glass Screen Digitizer last night and it seems to work great so far. The installation was relatively easy after watching several online video tutorials. Product came ready to plug into the control board. Just needed to clean the frame and transfer foam.

The replacement screen worked great but for only about a month. Now it does random touching across the screen. Disappointed.
