Greater than one weekI live in a long ranch house, with my cable modem at the front of the house. I had an Asus router midway that I was using as an extender. Kept dropping packets, video streaming was constantly buffering. I bought this and placed it in the same location and the difference is amazing! HD streaming no longer constantly stops to buffer. Setup could not have been easier. Highly recommend!

Greater than one weekI used this extender to address low wifi signal warnings in two of my Nest cams. Unlike another brand I tried, this one does the job! I just placed this about halfway between my main WiFi AP and the cameras, changed their SSIDs to use the extender and everything works great!No more signal quality warnings from Nest and steady video and audio streams.Note that you need to reconfigure the WiFi SSID in the Nest cameras to use the new AP and this is more painful than it should be (need to re-scan QR code or re-enter camera ID number), but thats an issue with Nest, not this extender.Also, I like how the extender has status LEDs to show both it is connected to your main WiFi hub and also that device(s) are paired with it and working. Nice double-check when there is an inevitable WiFi issue in the house.After a few weeks of continuous streaming, no problems at all.

- The working status of the repeater can refer to its smart indicator light.
- WiFi signal booster is only limited to increase the coverage of the wireless signal, but not to increase the speed of the network.
- When the repeater expands the signal, it does not need to plug in the network cable. It can receive the signal of the router directly by plugging it into the socket, and transmit the wireless signal.
